Tyler's POV.
I was still in my study when the alarm went off. I had asked the security team to install it after the last attack on my house. It's been happening more frequently than usual these days. I hurried outside just in time to see a guard rushing downstairs. He paused when he saw me.
"They made it past the gates, sir," he said and ran down the stairs. I looked around, expecting to see Liam rushing towards me, but I couldn't find him anywhere. Did he not hear the alarm? How could he still be with her in a time like this?
"Alicia," I gasped and rushed to her room, but she wasn't there. She must still be with Liam, I thought. If she is still with him, then I am sure he would be able to ensure that she is okay.
