THREE DAYS LATER
Lauren pampered her cheek with the powder, turning to make sure the remaining marks were concealed. The three days rest had helped her recover and she was very grateful for Leo.
She applied her concealer and carefully picked out her outfit with too much care. She didn't know why she did that but she tried not to think about it.
They'd probably see eye to eye for the first time in three days, Lauren wanted to look her best.
She was stepping out of the house and locking her door when the honk of a car caught her attention.
The SUV was unfamiliar but when the glass rolled down, Leo was leaning back on his seat and smiling at her.
