Leo opened the door to his room and Lauren walked in first, looking around the place with an astonishing gaze.
“Did you move out?” She asked as she noticed how neat and well arranged everything was. It was almost as if no one lived here.
“No,” he said to her surprise.
“Jayden moved out really early,” if she could recall correctly. “ It's so… empty.” She could almost count his belongings with her fingers. How did he manage to live here everyday yet make it look as though no one ever stepped in?
“I've never noticed the space,” he said. “it always seemed too much with me in it.”
That was a weird thing to say but she didn't question him when she noticed the flower crowns hanging on the wall above his bed. She hastened in her step to take a much closer look.
