7. Calling the Shots

828 Words
I took a bite of the sandwich and almost moaned. This was the best tasting sandwich I've ever had. "f*****g hell, what is this made of?" I cried out. Lily looked worried, "why, what's wrong? Is it bad? "Bad? Are you kidding me? This is the best thing I've ever had since like, never." I said. "Oh...thank you." She said and blushed. "I wasn't sure if I put too much mayonnaise or, pepper....." "Wait..." I interrupted before she could finish. "You made this? I didn't think you cooked, I just figured you'd have people to do that for you." She frowned. "Just because I do, that doesn't mean I can't do stuff on my own. I am not as much of a spoiled princess you painted me out to be," she said. "I didn't mean it like that, I just think it's amazing," I said, offering her a smile. We ate quietly for the rest of the period. "I will walk you to your class," I said. "No..that's okay," she said quickly. "I am walking you to your class," I said again, firmly this time. "Remember we had a deal? This means I get to call the shots now." "Fine," she said and rolled her eyes. I took the books from her hands and walked her to the class. "There's gonna be a party tonight, I want you to be my date." "But it's the school night!" She whined. "I don't care if its the night of Jesus's birth, you are coming with me and that's final," I said and grabbed her hand. "My parents will never allow it." She tried to protest again. "So what? Just sneak out. I'll let you figure out the plan. All I know is, I need a date and you're it." I said. "You're impossible." She slapped her forehead in frustration. "If I get in trouble...." "It'll be worth it." I finished for her. "I promise it'll be fun. It's not gonna be one of those boring rich people parties, you'll get to see what real fun is all about." She stared at me with an anguished look on her face and I almost felt bad for her. Maybe taking her to a wild party isn't such a good idea. The kids I normally associate with are a bit rough around the edges. Lily is just so....clean cut and pure, those kids could eat her alive. But then again, I want to have fun with her so it's time to corrupt her a little. "Okay...just don't make me pretend to like you. I still can't stand you and you can't control how I feel." She glared at me with her beautiful eyes and boy...she looks hot when she is angry. "Oh don't worry princess, I don't give a f**k about your opinion of me, I am just having a little fun." I lied. I cared, I cared a lot. I let go of her hand and she went inside. Around 9 pm, I headed over to her house to pick her up for the party. I parked my car alongside the curb and waited for her to come out. She came out moments later looking like a snack. Why does this girl look prettier and prettier every day? "There, I am here. Are you happy now?" she said as she sat down on the passenger seat. I put on a big smile just to annoy her. Mission accomplished because she looked like she wanted to shove my head underwater. I drove to Marco's house who was a long time friend of mine. He was kicked out of school a couple of years ago for pulling a knife on a kid. Yes, I am still friends with him. What else can be expected from someone like me anyway? I held her hand and pulled her inside the house. I could tell she was already feeling uncomfortable and out of place. There were few kids gathered around on the couch, smoking weed and rest were talking and drinking. Lily looked intimidated and squeezed my hand tighter, making me feel all tingly inside. Maybe bringing her here wasn't a bad idea after all. "Jacob, bro! What's up?" Marco came out of the room and greeted me. He looked at Lily and smirked. "And who's the new chick?" "She is with me, "I said. "Oh? What's your name beautiful?" Marco winked and I was starting to feel irritated. "Lily," she said and shifted uncomfortably next to me. "You are one sexy little thing aren't you?" Marco said and licked his lips. Rage fueled inside of me. Oh hell no...I thought. "Watch it, Marco," I snarled, my eyes burning into him. "She is off-limits." "Is that right? You must be something special if Jacob is getting all worked up about me flirting with you," he said to Lily and she blushed. "Chill out man, I am just messing with you a little. Keira is the one you need to watch for," he told me. Keira...I totally forgot about her.
