I was finally released from the hospital so I drove myself home. My injured ribs hurt like hell but I tried to ignore it and toughen up. I texted Lily and said hey.
"I am so mad at you right now," she replied.
"I know princess, I am sorry," I texted.
"Where have you been? I waited for you. I was so sad the whole party because I missed you," she texted.
"I ran into a small problem, please don't be mad at me?" I pleaded.
"Well...can I come to see you?" she said.
I thought about it. It was tempting to have her come see me but I didn't want her to see me like this. I had to avoid her until I got better. However long that might take.
