Chapter Nine

Jason P.O.V

I could hurt her. If I wanted too. I loved her. But I can't look weak. She doesn't understand that I'm putting her in her place. Unlike some Alphas I believe that she-wolfs are not as important as Male wolfs, we leadthey follow. I also believe that Kassidy is not my equal at all. I hated seeing her like this, but I had no choice. If Kassidy left me again she could die. I wouldn't have an heir and my pack wouldn't survive. She didn't have to care for me, but it would help if she had a little more respect. She squealed so much Ihad to pull over again and put a cloth over her mouth. Airport security would never let me take a squealing young tied up girl on a flight. So, I had planned to take my private jet to America. I would let Kassidy see her friends, if shefollowed my every rule. My pack (blood moon pack) are about to take over theLavender tailed pack soon and Eventually I planned to take over all the American wolf packs with Kassidy at my feet. It would be glorious. I woulddestroy all my enemies, I would be the almighty one. The plane ride was embarrassing my guards watched my badly-behaved half of a mate, groan and whineand curse during the first part of the flight. Then I threatened to never let her see Jade and Yvi again if she didn't shut up. And sure, enough my finally obedient mate sat down was quiet and didn't bother me until I tried to talk to her.

"Kitten you alright?" I said favouring that pet name.She shook her head and turned away.

"Come on Kitten" I cooed. I turned her chin to face me. I tried to kiss her cheek, but she winced furrowing her eyebrows.

"No" she simply said.

"Yes" I said forcefully crashing my lips against hers.She reluctantly took the kiss, and then turned away. I was disappointed at her reaction but startled as we landed on a bump. My guards drove us back to the house quickly as Ezma sat at home waiting. When we got back Kassidy was sent todo chores with Ezma. I had other things to do. More important things. My pack had defeated the lavender Tail pack I howled as more power seethed into me. I am going to a border patrol tonight. We are going to defeat the Costal Breeze pack tonight, Kassidy's home pack. Marching quickly out to their territory their alpha was there.

"Jason why are you here? This is Costal Breeze Pack territory" he spoke. I stepped fourth and with ease slit his throat with my canines. His confused expression fixed onto his face, I pushed his limp body down.

"Everyone you belong to me now! Join my army! Work for mypack! Or I shall slaughter you all" I said not caring. Lots of people gathered forward joining my pack out of fear. Some protested. I killed them easily. Kassidy’s parents were at the back shivering.

"Alpha Jason?" Kassidy’s mother called out.

"Yes" I said. She began.

"My daughter?" Kassidy’s father asked taking Kassidy’s mums arm.

"Safe with me, she is happy and will be pleased with the news that you two are going to meet her." I said trying not to smile. Hermother was down on her knees thanking me, tears spilling out of her eyes.

"Thankyou.......I was so worried!" She cried. Her mate patted her back. They followed me back to meet Kassidy. Power lingered over me after destroying their pack, enslaving the wolfs. Kassidy ran up to us, armsopen wide.

"Kassidy my darling, sweetie!!!" Her mother called crying and crying. Her father joined them for a family hug.

"Jason's treating you well?" Kassidy’s father asked. While they were distracted I made a gesture of being hanged to her.

"Great dad, he's brilliant I love it here," Kassidy fake smiled. She'd change her mind soon, when she sees my true power she'llfall for me once again like I fell for her.

Like before. I crept up and touched her, sending her soft skin fireworks she immediately kissed me out of nowhere. Then blushed embarrassed and turned around to face her parents.

"What's happened with you two then while I was gone" Kassidy asked them.

"Well-" her mother began.

"Their great" I chipped in. Kassidy’s mother glared atme.

"Jason enslaved your pack Kassidy, he killed everyone except only a few" Her father spoke. I glared at them as Kassidy stumbledback landing on the floor in shock. She was up against the kitchen drawer,panting her eyes staring into the distance. Her mother checked to make sure she was okay, but Kassidy stayed staring into space. She clutched her heart.

"Mel's dead, Rameses’s dead, your uncle’s dead, Fleurs dead, Timothy's dead......there gone" Her mother cried desperately listing some of Kassidy’s friends and family I had slaughtered.

"It was their destiny" I said trying to make the best of this situation.

"Their DENSTINY are you mad!!??!!??" Her father roared. I growled a warning.

"Leave" Kassidy said, directing it to her parents.

"What? No honey we have to be here for you” mother said holding her tightly. Kassidy stood up.

"No leave, I don't want you to get hurt, Alpha Jason toldyou it was their "destiny" Kassidy said the extreme sarcasm at the end.

"He's your equal honey you don't have to call himAlpha" the father said.

"She asked you to leave!" I growled, Kassidy’s facehad a light tear crawling down her face.

"Please before he gets angry" Kassidy said, her mum cried hugging her, her father protested.

"I'm staying with my daughter alpha or no alpha" hesaid. I growled approaching him. Kassidy’s mum stopped him.

"Honey we need to go" she said leaving with her mate waving goodbye to go join the other captured wolfs. Kassidy sat back down onthe floor. She slowly walked to the kitchen counter, with distant eyes. She reached for the butcher’s knife in a daze I didn't notice what she was doing. Then it hit me.

"DROP THAT F****** KNIFE" I said, she cut her arm sighing. She approached me handing me the knife. She tried to move away but I grabbed her waist.

"No don't leave by yourself. I can't trust you" she tried to escape my grasp again.

"Kassidy listen to me!" Her face distant, she tried to walk away again. I slapped her. She snapped out of it. A tear slipped down herface. I immediately regretted slapping her.

"Come with me" I said. I brought her to my room andsat her down on my bed. I sat with her pulling the covers over my head wrapping my arms around Kassidy’s petite body. She winced as I touched her. When I wokeup after a rough sleep Kassidy was still asleep next to me nuzzled into myside. I wanted Kassidy to come with me for my packs next triumph she'd get to experience the packs fighting skills and wouldn't have to be inside all day. I gently woke her up prodding her shoulder. I told her to get dressed and she did as told, wearing a loose tank top and some of the clothes I had bought her. She obediently followed me us both shifting. I stood at the border to the TealLions pack territory. Kassidy stood by my side as I howled out to its Alpha.

"Jason" he appeared.

"Alfie" I said.

"You finally grew up enough to get a mate?" He mocked winking at my Mate. I growled placing Kassidy closer to my side.

"Yes, I did and were very close" I lied slightly, Icouldn't quite define the word close.

"Uh huh I believe you........your mates’ kind ofshaking" he said. I just realised I was practically crushing Kassidy.

"She's fine, stop looking at her she's mine, myproperty" I growled. Kassidy stayed still no emotion on her face as Alfie laughed.

"Your dangling a carrot in everyone's face Jason,"she's off limits" "stop staring at her" you are making her more uncomfortable than she already is with you" he said. I growled.

"She's here to learn that I'm the best and I'm sure you'll agree once you join my pack......join me or die" I said growling in a threatening manner.

"No way!" He said. I tackled him to the ground, but Alfie flipped me over standing next to my mate pinning her down.

"Don't touch her!" I roared.

"Make me" Alfie said. Kassidy didn't look to fussed as I pulled Alfie off her. Killing him in a split second. Power slipped into myveins as the members of the Teal Lions joined me terrified by the death of their leader. I approached several protesters killing them in a painful manner, including an eight-year-old and his parents. The power filled my body pulsing through me. Kassidy was appalled shifting into her human self and grasping my shoulder as time seemed to pass in slow motion. I pushed her off.

"STOP IT! YOU JUST KILLED THAT INNOCENT CHILD!" She screamed wincing as she touched me, feeling the strong mate bond.

"Kassidy Be QUIET" I yelled at her pushing her off meagain, shocked from her strong feelings for me suddenly as she felt the Matebond again. She was helpless in this situation. Time seemed to stop slowing down as Kassidy shifted once more trying to prise me of my next prey. I laughed mockingly as I swirled my head round creating the loudest most furious growl I had ever done. Kassidy was brushed against my torso trying to calm me down as I destroyed Teal Lions members.
