"Well, at least I've got you two" I kind-of smile.
"I suppose, except you only have one and a half" Layla looked sad.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"Yvi's quiet now. He's a different person" Layla whispers though Yvi can hear. I sigh.
"Yvi. There's nothing we could do. There's nothing we can do. I am utterly and honestly stuck, well stuck with you two anyway. I miss Jade. I miss my baby even though I just found out today. I miss Jason, I'm-" I begin.
"You miss that monster? You miss the very wolf that destroyed my Mate?" Yvi spat out. Layla frowns.
"She can't help it Yvi it's the Mate bond. And besides, he's the father of her.........dead pup...." Layla disagreed. Yvi didn't reply and then simply muttered "sorry". I slightly rolled my eyes.
