It had taken two hours to get Ryder to shift back to his human. Now they were all gathered safely in Pauly’s house having coffee and trying to form a plan. “Hey, Ryder? What the hell was that, man?” Day asked.
“It’s my gift. I can syphon others gifts for short periods of time when I want to. Usually I have more control over it, but for some reason I lost that control. And I have also never taken on someone else’s gift for that long,” Ryder explained.
