As important as life seemed to be, it drifted away so easily in the blink of an eye. If you didn’t live, just floated through it, you would miss all the amazing things that life had to give you. Death was just that. It took everything from you until there was nothing but blackness. However, it only took one second in your life to determine if you would let death overtake you or hold onto life for a few moments longer if only to appreciate those few moments you had left. I’m not sure what had happened as the only thing that I remembered was being attacked. When I began to my eyes, the pain was the first thing that I noticed.
