DEATH
It was an autumn night in 1996, in Transylvania. The darkness of the forest only made the memory of her heavier. He hadn't been able to make her happy, but to tell the truth, he hadn't the slightest intention of it. She dared to betray him, screw up all that time spent together. And then, for what? For a madman convinced that everything around us belongs to who knows what creatures that feed on the blood of criminals. But most importantly, she cheated on him with his best friend. The only family he never had. The person he trusted blindly. Now, the cold and tiredness don't give him break. He walks scattered to look for a place to stop, at least to rest his legs. Is tired, cold, and the strength is leaving him due to hunger. Not far away sees a light. He quickens his steps and seeing a house, he prays that there is someone with a good heart to help him. Is lucky enough to see the silhouette of a man in the courtyard. > The curious man approaches the young boy. > > The man takes him into the room, it looked like a small hole in a rock, but it was cozy. There was a bed and a small chair, carefully handcrafted wooden stools. > ... The first night hardly pass. The pain in his legs didn't seem to ease, and what's more, that little girl's crying didn't give him peace. Finally, after endless efforts he fell asleep. > a female sound was heard in the distance in his mind, accompanied by a sarcastic laugh, almost unbearable. But she had something sweet, tender. > The laughter felt even closer, tormenting him more and more. He was sweating, his veins swelled and he felt his blood freeze instantly. A beautiful woman approached him. She had her hair very long, brunette, and two eyes like ocean water, tall with shapes that would satisfy any sinner. > Trembling, he tried to clear his throat by screaming at the top of his lungs: > he leapt off the bed and for an instant didn't react, it felt like his lungs wanted to burst and the heart started pounding in every corner of his body. Realizing it was just a dream, took long breaths to recover. Wanting to cool his burning throat, he decided to reach for some water. Leaving the room, he takes a dark corridor, hearing the crying of that little girl again. Suddenly a door on the right swung open, and he saw her. Little Zaraza standing there. She was a dark-haired girl, with very long black hair, and her eyes looked identical to the woman he had just dreamed about. "Who is she? >> asked the frightened little girl. > > she says, turning around and entering the room. Once in the kitchen he took a glass and filled it from the tap. He emptied it quickly, the cold water making the heat go away. He drinks another and decides to go back to bed. Tomorrow morning he will have business to attend to. ... A week, a month, two passed and time seemed to have given him a new family, the man who looked after him took him to heart, allowing him to stay with him and his family. But as time went by the dreams tormented him more and more. He didn't understand who that woman was and why he didn't give him a break. Until one night....he heard the door to his room open, and little Zaraza there, motionless watching him. > > He never liked children, but Zaraza had a way of her own, and it was almost impossible not to get attached to those two beautiful innocent eyes. > Little Zaraza lay down next to him, letting herself be cradled by the big and strong arms of that man she was so fond of, she considered him as her uncle. As soon as the story ended, the little girl fell into a deep sleep. And so did Marcus. But like every night his nightmares tormented him, but this time there was something different... "Little Zaraza plays in the courtyard, with that little pink dress on, and those pigtails that Daiana, her mother, used to make for her, given the length of her hair. But, with each step, getting closer and closer to Marcus, Zaraza seemed to grow more and more. Until she arrived next to him, she became a woman. That woman! With that mischievous smile that haunted him every night. > she laughed. > The sweet sound of that little girl echoes in his head. And he sees her bigger again, lying spreadeagled on top of him. Repeating the same things. he won't, can't, not after what he's suffered. He couldn't even bear the thought of hugging another woman. Women make him sick now. And sadly, for a moment, a chilling idea crosses his anger-clouded mind. kill her! ... The voice reappears, does not give him peace. He is shivering and feels his blood clouding his thoughts. "I'm only dreaming," he told hemself. "Would you like it to be a dream! >> That damned voice. Ride is on him as before. Her hands touch his chest, he's sweating, his breath feels hot. Hormones assault his body, he wants her. And losing control, he pulls her towards him. He smells her hair and that perfume drives him crazy. He wants her, her perfect body, her full lips. Every single part of her body calls him to itself. He wakes up wanting to scream but his voice is stuck in his throat. He is no longer himself. He runs into the kitchen, grabs a knife and returns to the door to her room. He opens it as he approaches the bed where Zaraza slept. His eyes turn red. He raised his arms, squeezing the weapon tighter in his hands. And with such cruelty and hatred the blade wounded the defenseless Zaraza. Dropping the knife to the ground, he runs into the courtyard. He climbs over the gate and pulls at his hair cursing himself for what he had just done. He has just committed a crime, for a nightmare. He no longer wants to live, he doesn't deserve it and he is aware of it. His tears roll down his face without stopping, seeming to follow the rhythm of his steps. > Orders him a powerful voice. His heart stops and his legs won't move anymore. He wants to run away but the body won't listen to him. "Do you think you can escape what you've done? >> > > The man approaches. > "Kill me then! Please, I'm a monster. >> > Here it is, getting closer and closer. He has shoulders that would scare even a rugby player. His black hair falls on his face and his mouth is bloody. He grabs him by the neck, attaches him to the tree, slamming him with such force that Marcus feels his lungs shattered. Holding him tighter and tighter, he opens his mouth wide. Marcus is terrified at the sight of his teeth, especially the canines. They look like those of a wolf, or even worse, of those monsters that his ex talked about so much. A vampire ...... He fell to the ground, growing colder and colder. He feels the earth tremble beneath him. The leaves of the trees fall slowly, covering his face. His lips turn purple and his heart stops beating ....
