“Wow, this is such a nice place!”
Violet’s mom threw her gaze out to the green lush gardens of the estate and she smiled from ear to ear. Today, she and Violet were spending the afternoon together, walking through the garden and having tea.
After about three weeks of living in the estate, Violet was finally confident enough to invite her mom over. Damon and his men were also out on business, so she figured this would be the perfect time to have her at the estate. She wouldn’t have to see so many guys in black suits and guns walking around.
“Oh, Vi, it’s like you live in a castle,” her mom said again, pointing to the large estate standing behind them. “But what kind of work you do here exactly?”
