I gasped, breathing in the fragrant, balmy air of the forest in Alpha Walker's dreams.
He was standing in the clearing again, and he rushed over to me and held out his hands when he saw me cowering on the ground beside one of the large trees.
I shook my head, and began to stand up by myself, but he insisted on helping me and his touch was firm and reassuring as he pulled me to my feet and wrapped me in his arms.
"I thought I'd lost you," I whispered against his chest.
His voice was a deep growl, and he held me tightly as he stroked my hair.
"You didn't lose me. I don't know what happened, but you weren't here last night... I thought something might have gone wrong... I was scared that you were gone." I gripped him tightly and let out a low moan of distress, and he nuzzled
