“I… I didn’t know you were the son of… of the man he shot.” Ben flinched, expecting Luke’s eyes to turn on him, cold and hard. They didn’t. Instead, the teenager only nodded and finished filling the tank of his dirt bike. Ben and Becky continued forward and stepped inside the cabin. They found June standing at the kitchen sink, starting lunch. She turned and smiled at Becky. “How are you, Becky?
