Armaan stepped between both the ladies and freed Nandini's arm from Maya's grip.

Standing astonished, Maya was staring at Armaan with broadened eyes.

"What's wrong with you and what I have done wrong with you? " Armaan asked,

Nandini tried to leave but Armaan grabbed her wrist,

Maya noticed how Armaan was grabbing Nandini's wrist and even Nandini was staring at the same thing.

"Maya, I already promised you that I won't hurt you the way I got hurt,

I promised you that you don't need to feel insecure about anything,

I promise you... " Maya cuts him off.

"Do you love me, Armaan?

(Maya asked in a broken tone, but his question made Armaan and Nandini tense at the same time)

Will you ever love me the way you love her" Maya asked staring at Nandini who just closed her eyes hearing Maya's words.

Armaan sucked a deep breath but didn't leave Nandini's wrist and that was hurting Maya bitterly.

He tried to palm Maya's face but she harshly jerked his palm away from her.

Sighing softly, Armaan closed his eyes for a second.

He knew he had to pick the correct words as he couldn't hurt Maya.

Looking at her expression and wording he already got to know that she took everything in the wrong way and now he had to clear the things to her.

Nandini tried to free her wrist but Armaan tightened his grip on her, which made Nandini look at Armaan once again but his gaze was fixed on Maya.

Nandini noticed Maya as well whose eyes now pooled up with tears.

"We already talked about this matter,

You know I need time, and you told me that you are ready to wait for me.

I am trying Maya, and you know that, even you promised me that you would stand by my side through this.

You said our relationship will heal everything,

That's why I agreed to be with you when you know I wasn't ready for a second heartbreak.

(He shook his head, making a painful face. He already had too much on his plate and here he has been trying to clear Maya's mind)

She... She is in... " Before he completes his words, Maya shows him her palm and steps back.

Hearing her selection of words, Armaan yelled at her but instead of getting affected by his rage Maya started laughing.

Maya started shaking her head and then with raging rage started walking away from them.

Nandini looked at Maya then she looked at Armaan who was staring at Maya's back then he looked at his grip on Nandini's wrist as she was trying hard to free her wrist.

"You should go after her and clear her mind,

She loves you, " Nandini told him, but his next words shook Nandini to her core.

"That love which has to be expressed and told again and again,

The love that has to be put in the dock again and again

That would not have been love, it would have been disillusionment.

I agree I don't love her the way I love you (Nandini's red eyes widened and guilt also clouded them, actually it was always there in her but she never admitted it but coated her guilt with her meaningless rage toward Armaan)

But Maya claimed to love me, not from now but since childhood.

If she can't trust me,

Nandini pulled her wrist out of his grip as the moment his grasp lost on her,

She stumbles back but balances her weight at the right time.

(Nandini made a more astonished face and was about to say no but Armaan covered the distance between them and put his finger over her lips.

Gulping her saliva, she steps back but there is a wall behind her.

Nandini composed herself and looked at Sid

Nandini cuts Sid's words.

Till now I and Armaan were unable to move forward because of Alex but now Alexa will not be a problem.

Armaan and Alexa can start a new life... " She said, wiping her tears.

Nandini again tried to leave but Armaan grabbed her wrist,

As Sid was there, he grabbed her and took them to the attempt area of the floor then grabbed her both arms with a frustrated expression.

Sid raised his brow in a questioning manner.

"Is this blood?" Alexa asked Sid, pointing her finger on his shoulder which made Sid's face pale.

He instantly touched his shoulder and a moan escaped out of his mouth.

"You are hurt! " Alexa said in a panicking tone but Sid assured her, he was fine but it was a clear lie.

"While coming here, I slipped, maybe my bandage is leaking. Just give me five minutes... " Sid said and moved toward the area where the cottage and bandage were placed.

Stepping into the washroom, when he removed his shirt, there were more than four fresh bullet wounds on his shoulder and waist too.

With a painful expression, he started changing his bandages but the pain was too much for him to handle as his both eyes turned red...
