"What the hell?

Why the hell do you have a gun in your purse? " Aryan frowned as he knew she didn't how to shoot.

"Shut up and let's go up... " She said, and tried to move toward the elevator area but he grabbed her hand and pulled her back to him before she collided with him she put her palm over his chest.

Darkness once again loomed in her eyes and her nose turned red.

"Stay within your limits! "She warned him pulling her wrist out of his grasp harshly.

"Nandini! You don't know... "

" If I can design weapons, I can use them too!

The guards won't stay by my side 24×7, and after targetting you (She pointed her finger at his chest)

I'll be the killer's next target and I have no plans to die so early. "

Cursing under his breath, he ran his fingers into his charming disheveled hair.

He is worried and frustrated at the same time as he knows how stubborn Nandini is.

He looked at her but she was already staring at him with carefree looks.

"Designing and using the weapons are two different things Nandini and...

(He halted, narrowing his gaze at her The realization hit him hard)

You know the killer! " She shook her head, shrugging her shoulders.

"The killer is targeting those girls who were involved with you and I was one of them... " He instantly grasped her palm again.

You are precious to me, more precious than my life." Pulling her palm back she smiled again

"Let's go up, I need to buy a few clothes for myself, " She said and dragged him upstairs.

Hugging Aryan's arm tightly, Nandini was sounding too enthusiastic about small things.

She was talking about random stuff with Aryan and he was only humming in response.

Her behavior and chats were too opposite to her personality but Aryan was too lost staring at her to think anything else.

After shopping for approx 1 hour she made Aryan spend more than 30 lakhs over herself.

She bought 10 dresses and then started walking to the other shop but seeing the name of the shop Aryan halted and started staring at Nandini with a stunned expression.

She leaned close to his ear "It's for my friend " She said, removing her mask a a little and sensually biting his earlobe.

Her actions took him to cloud nine, his toes curled into pleasure and his heart started picking the bricks to build the castle that Nandini shattered brutally.

A huge smile appeared on his lips and his arm automatically wrapped around her waist.

This time Nandini smiled at him in lovey dovey manner and hugged him tightly and he wasted no second hugging her back.

After buying more than 10 lakh Rs more stuff, Nandini and Aryan started moving toward the exit. They both were holding many bags in their palms, and looking extremely happily.

Suddenly Nandini's feet halted and she twirled back, Her gaze met with a book on which ALPHA009 was written, and then she lifted her gaze and noticed the name.

She won't know why, but giving all the bags to Aryan she steps into the bookstore and picks up the book with almost trembling fingers.

"Ma'am do you need anything...? " The seller asked,

"This Novel? "

"Oh ma'am, it got published approximately 7 years ago, The writer is unknown but readers are counting the days on their fingers for the next edition, " The seller said,

"Pack it! "

"I wasn't aware that you have an interest in novels as well! " Aryan said, gently nudging his shoulder with her but she took bags and told Aryan that she was leaving as some urgent work came and left him alone at the mall all confused.

Stuffing all the bags into the back seat and Car's trunk, Nandini put the novel on the passenger seat and then sped her car to the hotel.

Aryan came to the parking area and noticed how recklessly Nandini was driving.

He was about to call the guards but a bright light flickered on his face that made him so irritated that his cell phone slipped from his palm.

"F*ck off, shut the damn light" Aryan yelled in rage, but all of sudden Car started moving toward Aryan fastly, and soon Aryan's body flew in the air, his head collided with the wall and body dropped over the nails pierced woods. A loud painful scream escaped from his mouth, but that wasn't enough for the killer as he once again started taking the car toward Aryan but Aryan crawled away in bloody condition.

But suddenly his foot got stuck in the nail and the killer psychopath driver ran his car over his legs.

The people gathered around them but no one dared to go close to Aryan nor tried to stop a killer who was sitting inside the Black car.

Suddenly the door opened and a palm came out of the car to grab Aryan inside but a fireshot made the killer drop his plan and escape.

Soon the car collided with a pillar and after that everything got silent.

The public thought the killer would come out but they had no idea that they already escaped.

With his bloody palms, Aryan called Armaan but due to pain and shock, his mind completely turned numb.

He started screaming like a lunatic.

The pain was too much for Aryan to bear that was why his mind shut him and soon he collapsed on the nail woods.

At Maya's penthouse:

Armaan lay beside his daughter and pulled her close to him, then removing her hair from her face he kissed her head.

"Can you drop me to Mom's place, please I don't like it here... " She requested, snuggling into her father.

"Only if you promise, you'll never misbehave with Maya! " Armaan asked her as gently as he could.

"I'll accept her as your girlfriend but not as my mummy! " Alexa cleared him, sitting on the bed in Indian style.

Armaan also sat on the bed and was about to pull her cheek but suddenly he started feeling uneasy,

He starts getting feelings as if something bad is about to happen but ignoring the uneasiness he starts telling Alexa that Maya isn't trying to take Nandini's place in her life.

"Dad! If Maya will stay with us in our new mansion, then I'll stay with Mom" Alexa cleared her Dad

Armaan frowned, narrowing his gaze at Alexa he raised his brow at her.

"Were you eavesdropping on my chat with Maya?" Armaan asked,

"I accidentally heard when I was coming to tell you to drop me at Mom's hotel! " Alexa said,

Yes, Alexa is upset with her mother but knowing that her dad offered Maya to stay with them and that too in their new mansion deeply hurt Alexa.

Her actions and pain are obvious, if, at her place and her age there had been any other kid, that kid would also react in the same way.

Her innocent mind is trying to understand what happened between her loving parents and why they all of sudden planned to separate their ways.

And their new mansion, which is supposed to be their home, how could Maya come and stay there?

Alexa's mind recalled the time when she and Nandini used to make plans and had designed almost all the things in the mansion including rooms, pool areas, lounges, gaming areas, fountain areas, and interiors of every corner of the mansion.

"Alexa, you know what has been happening in the city, and I am just concerned about Maya's safety

( he pulled his baby girl in his arms and kissed her temple)

Sooner or later, Maya will stay with us and we have to get habitual of her stay at our home. " Alexa turns her face in the other direction and looking into her eyes it is clear that she has promised herself she wouldn't let her Dad and Maya become one.

"Okay, stop giving me cold shoulder, let's go I'll drop you to your mom's hotel! " he said, picking her up in his arms.

"My clothes, "

"I'll come to pick you up in the morning! " Armaan said, stepping out of the room.

"Are you guys going somewhere? " Maya asked, removing her gaze from Sapphire who was on video call with Maya.

Armaan and Alexa waved at Sapphire and she instantly waved them back.

"I'll be back in an hour, Stay careful, and don't open the door for any stranger," Armaan told her.

"But where are you going? " Maya asked, getting up from the sofa and dropping the pillows from her lap.

"She wants to go to Nandini, her hotel is not so far from here, I'll be back in an hour! " Armaan said while peeping at Sapphire with the stealer's gaze.

Maya is about to tell Armaan that she is also coming with them but seeing Alexa's expression she drops her plan and passes them right lip smile...
