[Note: It will help enormously if you've read TAAHP before reading this which is a spin off/squeal to the s********e elements within this story may come off confusing if you're only reading this without reading TAAHP. This is NOT a stand alone story and this will be written with the pre-assumption that TAAHP was read beforehand. I hope you enjoy this tale of Kai and Declan's story. More characters will be announced and even more drama will unfold. ON with the story~ ] —————————————————————— KAI COACHMAN Honestly f**k my life. f**k everything that surrounds my life. I'm really considering crawling back up my mothers v****a and wishing I was never even born at this point. Why? Because I was in the midst of an argument I didn't want to be apart of. Vera and May were arguing, there high pitch screaming annoying the hell out of me but there wasn't much I could do. Poor Finnick was in the corner, his hands covering his ears as if to block out their noise but even I knew that s**t wasn't actually working for him. Why were these chimpanzee like women yelling? Well it wasn't like they decided to randomly do so, not like that wasn't something they wouldn't do. It was because I, Kai Coachman, and my best friend Finnick Green we're getting married. To whom? Killian King and Declan Stone. It honestly flipped my mind upside down to think that someone like me was going to get married to someone like Declan Stone. I mean, no offense, I love the guy to pieces but I never thought I was gay. Junior year of high school, I would've laughed in your face if you brought up that gay s**t to me. I would've cackled and danced on your mothers grave, telling you to shove your jokes back up your ass. Now look at me. It's been literally four years, I felt old even though I was only twenty-one but it felt like yesterday that I was seventeen with the adorable Finnick by my side. Now I was literally an adult and I was marrying a f*****g guy, that will never not faze me. I was startled as arms wrapped around my waist and a chin lay on my right shoulder. Turning slightly, I saw Declan and despite the butterflies that erupted in my stomach and consumed my whole being, I shoved him away. "Your breath stinks," I commented, though it was far from true. The man smelled incredible, his breath minty and flawless like everything else about him. "His breath stinks?! Brush your teeth Declan! Your breath can not stink on your wedding day," Vera fussed, breaking from her shout fest with May who was by Finnick, comforting the small boy. Declan rolled his eyes, blowing a breath of air in Vera's direction. She glared at first before she sniffed her super smelling nose and she had a satisfied look on her face. "Fresh," she said before turning and walking out to do whatever. Declan came back over to me and stood in front of me, his arms instantly wrapping around my waist like his first instinct was to automatically touch me. I wasn't complaining, I loved when he touched me. I love when he was around me or whenever he looked at me because it made me squirm in the best way. It was so intense but wonderful at the same time. I would've pushed him away but I decided not to be as much of a d**k as I usually am since it is our wedding day and instead, I wrapped my arms around his neck. He smirked instantly, obviously pleased with my actions and I rolled my eyes. He leaned in and I blushed as I usually did, even now that it's been years, and he pressed his lips firmly against mine. I melt instantly, my limbs feeling like pudding...which I hated because pudding is f*****g disgusting. Moral is, his lips felt amazing on mine. If I only had five minutes to live, I'd spend them with my lips on his with no regrets at all. "Save that lip action for when y'all say I do," my mom scolded me as she gripped the back of my deluxe suit and ripped me away from Declan. I swatted her hands off my suit, knowing it was expensive. I didn't pay for the damn thing but Declan did even though I insisted that he shouldn't become a sugar daddy for me cause even though it was hella tempting, my ass had to be independent. "Ma what the f**k! This suit costs a leg!" I ragged. She slapped my lips and I hissed in pain. "Boy, I'm going to remove your damn leg if you curse like that one more time," she scolded, her hands on her hips. "I'll try to tame him Ms. Coachman," Declan gave a innocent smile and I narrowed my eyes. "I'm sure you will. God you are just so handsome, heaven knows how the hell Kai caught your attention," Ma fawned over Declan, her eyes honey sweet when she looked at him. I rolled my eyes so hard, I could practically see my brain; not possible but let me exaggerate. Declan was like this, he'd butter up my mother to the point where she literally liked him more than me. Can you imagine, I'm her son! What the hell kind of nonsense is that. I was much better than Declan, I mean I could write my name with my left hand. That was amazing, no one could tell me otherwise. "Come here little Kaylee! You too Jaylin," Marcus was chasing three year old twins who zoomed past Declan and my mother who were conversing. I smiled slightly, seeing Vera and Marcus' children. They were literally so adorable, my heart squeezed inside my chest. Children were just so damn cute, I actually got emotional over their adorableness and just the process of their growth. I really wanted children of my own, my mind drifted to when Vera said there was an actual chance that I could have kids because Alpha, Beta and Gamma mates, if they were male, could secrete slick and produce children. They chance was slim but it was still there. I looked at Declan and he caught my eye and he smiled. My heart began to race, every time I gazed at him I was reminded of how much I loved him. I really never wanted to love anyone, except Finnick of course the boy was too damn cute how is it physically possible to not love Finnick? Anyways, Declan turned something around in me that I never knew was even there. I was actually happy that I was marrying such a man and I felt extremely lucky. Not only was I marrying Declan but I sharing this moment with Finnick and Killian, Finnick being my best friend who I was happy to have met. We decided to have a joint wedding. It took a lot of talking and discussing before we all agreed to do it. Declan wanted for us to have our own wedding but then he realized how much it meant to be to get married with Finnick and he caved. I appreciated him immensely for that. I hooked my arm around Finnick's neck and pulled him to me tightly. He choked, gripping my arm in his hands trying to remove it from his neck. I released the pressure and he turned his head slightly to glare at me, which was so non threatening, I returned the look with a goofy smile. "Are you ready, Bolt?" I ask him. His face shows how worry stricken he is but soon after a smile takes over his face and he nods slightly. "Yes, I'm ready!" He exclaims. I smile brightly at his energy. He was always so shy and quiet and socially awkward and kept to himself back then, he was still socially awkward but he was working on himself and he wasn't as painfully shy and the stuttering boy he used to be. He didn't change much, visually, he was still very much adorable but sometimes he'd wear contacts here and there. He was still Finnick Green. "Guys, the guest are finally all here! It's time," Era, Killian's Mother, says as she pokes her head into our little changing tent. She disappears after giving Finnick and I a smile to which we returned but mines was a little crooked because I was nervous out of my mind. Declan was by side and I felt his hand envelop my own, the warmth and tingles that shot through calming me down. I loved the feelings I experienced only with him. I look up at him and genuine happiness overtakes my features. His eyes hold such raw admiration and love that my heart swells and I feel like I'll throw up a rainbow with unicorns to follow. I felt so f*****g gay...but I loved every bit of it. Everyone of our friends and people who were close to us left the room. Declan and Killian left after and it was just Finnick and I at the moment. I hugged him tightly as he hugged me. He wrapped his arms tightly around me and I jokingly pushed him away slightly, my eyes narrowing in false annoyance. "You'll crease my suit Bolt, it was literally made by Jeffrey Star himself," I chastised. "How selfish of you. Did you not know mine was made by James Charles," he caught onto the joke easily, his hands on his hips. "James who?" I scratch my nonexistent beard. "You uncultured swine!" He yelled. We bursted into laughter and my nerves felt even more lightened up. "This is it," he says. "Yup, let's blow these bitches away and show them how a wedding is really done," I smirk and he smiles. Holding hands with Finnick, we walk out of the tent together. Row by row, there were thousands of people all seated. We were in Fiji, that's the place we chose to hold it. We were outside, within a forest setting with tall trees around us. It was beautiful with the lights beautifully strung everywhere, a flower trail beneath Finnick and I's feet. We were walking up, passing by pack members and family that were all seated in white chairs to witness us both get married. As we walked further up the trail Declan was now in my line of view. Why did he look even more better now? Was it because of the lights that illuminated his features, making him even more handsome then he already was? Was it because my heart was pounding to the point of leaping out of the chest? My hands were getting sweaty but I wasn't sure if it was me or if it was Finnick too but I didn't find out because my eyes were locked onto Declan. We got to our destination, at the center where the priest stood in his white attire. Declan was to the far left while Killian was on the far right, the priest at the center. Our groomsmen; Marcus, Elliot, Chris, and Elijah were in a line by the left of the priest while our groomswomen; Vera, Bryn and May were in a line by the right of the priest. They held flowers and had the happiest expression on their faces. Finnick and I looked at each other before our hands that were held together, parted and he went to Killian as I went to Declan. A nervous smile was on my face as Declan looked at me like I was the most significant thing in his life. I was in front of him and my eyes were locked on his as his were on mine. I turned my head as he did and we witnessed Kaylee hold a pillow that had Declan and I's wedding ring. Jaylin held a pillow as well but he was going over to Killian and Finnick. The children stood there, impatiently but I'm sure they were promised candy if they behaved so I saw there childish faces screwed into one of concentration and I smiled. The priest began to speak but his words were a blur, my eyes connecting with Declan's again. He reached out and held my hands tightly and my mouth stretched into a gentle grin. "—Declan do you take Kai to be your husband through thick and thin, through every and all obstacles faced. For richer and for poorer. Through bad moods and good moods?" I heard the priest question. "I do," I heard him utter without second thought, like he was waiting for this moment for his whole life. Could he be anymore perfect? Could this be anymore perfect? "Kai do you take Declan to be your husband through thick and thin, through every and all obstacles faced. For richer and for poorer. Through bad moods and good moods?" The priest asks. My heart was racing so fast, I was nearly lightheaded but staring at Declan my answer was obvious. "I—" A scream rang through the air and our eyes flashed over quickly to see what the problem could be. My eyes widened an I released Declan's hands as I stumbled backwards. In front of me was a wave of people we didn't know and weren't apart of the pack. What stuck out were two people that made my heart sink and everything I thought I knew shatter into pieces. It was Ailee and...Lyn? Wait, pause. Let me rewind three years, where this all began. Where things began to lead up to this point. To the beginning and by beginning I don't mean the beginning of everything but the year after the major battle broke out that tore everything apart. This was going to take a while. Second book GUYSSSSS. I'm not sure if updates will be slow or not, I hope they won't, but I'm not sure. I hope you guys will like this as much as I anticipate. Please note that time is important. You need to keep up with the time, that means years and dates and all that jazz or you will get confused. June 10th 2018 The day the war broke out between Nicolas' pack and the Blue Moon Pack. August 12th 2018 The day that Finnick was announced Killians mate and Killian proposed to marry Finnick in the future. (Chapter 35 of TAAHP) May 15th 2023 The time setting of this chapter. Four years later. August 25th 2020 Setting time stamp for the next chapter, the time start of this book and the beginning of everything significantly remote to Kai.
