"Feelings, so deep in my feelings. No, this ain't really like me, Can't control my anxiety. Feeling, like I'm touching the ceiling, When I'm with you I can't breathe. Boy, you do something to me,"

Kai, Declan, Killian as well as Vera sat in the living room, there eyes on the new comers. Kai was awkwardly messing with the curls atop his head, his eyes going from the girl who he'd never seen before to the floor. He hated awkward situations like this and it was a definite that he'd rather be hearing his mothers nagging than to be here at the moment.
"Alpha Killian, we need your men to help us as we finish our building of our pack," announced Elijah, the Alpha of the pack that was soon to be neighboring the Blue Moon Pack.
"Not even a, 'please,'" Kai muttered, his voice seeming to be low enough to not be heard but in a room filled with werewolves his every breath was heard.
Elijah turned to focus on Kai, his right eyebrow raised in a questioning look towards Kai. It was apparent that Kai was human so it was a question to be asked by the estranged Alpha, who knew nothing of the Blue Moon Pack, why he was attending this meeting. Kai didn't seem fazed by Elijah's questioning look, his eyes on Vera instead who shot him a look.
"Our apologies," Vera apologized swiftly.
"No, I apologize, I let my manners slip," Elijah smiled, his face less intimating to Kai who slacked his posture at the sight.
Elijah was, as anyone with eyes could tell, extremely attractive. Though it was objective to compare him to Killian and Declan, Elijah's features were naturally intimidating and it didn't help that his eyes squinted whenever he was focused and that made it appear that he was glaring when really he was just looking. Eyes brown mixed hazel, his appearance was rugged with his facial hair accessorizing his face and giving him a tougher look.
His lips were thin but pink and suited him. Next was his hair that was a magnificent brown that shined with health in the sunlight. He was quite muscular as all werewolves with high status were. His smile was what caught most individuals eyes as it captivating and it made his whole face light up.
"Why did you move next to us?" Killian asked, leaning forward, his legs opening as he rested his elbows on his knees and held his chin with his hand.
"We wanted to become allies with you. We heard news of the battle you faced a few years ago and our pack thought it would be beneficial to us as well as a benefit for you," Elliot explained, his smile disappearing behind his serious persona.
"Benefit to us?" Declan scoffed, "we handled it fairly well."
"If handle it, you mean you lost a lot of your men," the girl who came with Elijah retorted.
Kai looked at the girl who was eying him once more. Her face dropped from the disbelief that was previously shown and brightened instantly, a smile slipping onto her face as she looked at Kai. You would've thought she won the lottery with the way her eyes danced summersaults as she looked at Kai.
"Bryn," Elijah turned to her, his tone authoritative, "That was unnecessary."
Bryn hated being reprimanded but she was respectful so she sulked quietly, her last wish to disrespect her Alpha. The sulking didn't last long as she winked slyly at Kai whose eyes widened in surprise, his eyebrows raised as well. Declan, without doubt, caught her actions and he glared hatefully, his teeth bared in annoyance.
Declan didn't like this at all. He didn't like Bryn and he didn't care for Elijah as well but mostly he had a problem with the girl was making f*****g 'goo goo' eyes at Kai who was simply confused and uncomfortable. The Beta wanted the insufferable girl to stop looking at his mate, he wanted to turn her ass around and shove her into the nearest dumpster where she could rot.
"Her existence is also unnecessary," Declan chewed out with irritation directly at Bryn.
Bryn glared, her mouth opening to give him a piece of her mind but Killian cut the girl off.
"Nothing is getting done," Killian barked in annoyance, his alpha tone slipping out which made everyone silent, even Elijah who was about to scold Bryn for even opening her mouth to attempt to disrespect a Beta, "Elijah and I will discuss this in private."
There was no objection as Killian stood and Elijah followed, glaring with a warning look towards Bryn who rolled her eyes. Though Elijah was her alpha, he was also her step brother. They weren't blood related as her family died in a rogue attack but she was accepted into Elijah's family since she was six and they've been together ever since.
Killian and Elijah disappeared into an office down a few halls, leaving Declan, Kai, Bryn and Vera. Vera, hearing baby Jaylin's crying all the way from the fourth floor, leaps off the couch and disappears up the long flight of stairs easily.
"What an uncomfortable silence, I'm going to go annoy Bolt," Kai says as he stands.
"I'll come," Bryn says, a smile on her face as she stands and loops her arm around Kai's arm.
Kai raises a brow, slipping his arm away from her and taking a step away.
"I don't know you," Kai was trying to get the girl off his back.
"You can get to know me," she says suggestively and Kai begins to choke on air violently.
He now realized that this girl was into him. It was so obvious she was flirting with him that even someone who was blind could see it, not literally of course. He didn't know how to react because girls never really throw themselves at Kai. Kai had one or two girlfriends but they didn't last quite long because girls were just annoying to Kai and he never found satisfaction being with them.
Kai would admit that Bryn was attractive. She had a natural glowing tan, her hair was a light brown that cascaded past her shoulders in loose curls that were currently unkempt but it still managed to look good. She had the most unique and beautiful sea foam eyes that held you in place and lips that were thick and luscious, one would think she wore lipstick but her lips were naturally vibrantly pink.
Her style was also something to look at. She wore a black bandeau with a simple heart at the center with shorts that were ripped and accompanying her look were vibrant yellow Vans that outwardly looked like it didn't match but it went with it in her own Bryn way. Kai appreciated someone with good style and Bryn had that.
Bryn held Kai's elbow, her face bright with enthusiasm as she was going to invite him to go on a date with her before Declan ripped her dainty hands off his mate and tossed her hand like it was toxic waste. Declan grabbed Kai roughly, moving him to his side and away from Bryn who scowled at Declan.
"Don't f*****g touch what isn't yours, princess," Declan seethed, his blood boiling just thinking the abomination that Bryn is touched his mate.
"You don't claim him, he probably doesn't even like you," Bryn spat back.
Kai was looking between Bryn and Declan who were violently and very aggressively arguing and it looked like it would turn into something much more serious. Aside from that, Kai was shook that people were actually fighting over him. He felt like that last cookie on the plate that everyone wanted.
Their argument was cut short as Chris appeared. His ears caught the argument and he dreaded having to be the one to interrupt said argument but Marcus heard the fight and called, 'not it,' on getting Declan so Chris was forced to go down and get the Beta by the sacred 'not it,' laws.
"Declan," Chris called out.
Chris's presence was now noticed but with regret at the venomous glare Declan wore. He looked like he was prepared to chew someone's head off and rip off their limbs and feed the discards to his nonexistent dog.
"What?!" Declan barked, his wolf slipping.
Bryn brought the highest level of rage and jealousy out of Declan. He didn't want her anywhere near his mate because simply the sound of her flirting with Kai drove him insane. It would be the Beta's nightmare to see Kai taken from him or witness him madly in love with someone who just wasn't him. It crushed him.
"Killian needs to speak with you," Chris flinched slightly as he felt Declan's anger rolling off him waves.
"Anger issues or what," Bryn remarked with snark.
This was Declan's breaking point but before he could explode, someone else did.
"Will you just shut the f**k up?" Kai yells with pure annoyance in his eyes.
Bryn was surprised, her wide eyes a telltale sign.
"Honestly, I think sucking Declan's d**k would be better than spending any sort of time with you," Kai spat.
Bryn was gapping like a fish, unable to say anything.
"Rule of thumb," Kai smiled his usual fake smile and approached Bryn, his face close to hers, "first come, first serve. I'm most definitely sure Declan was first."
The amount of admiration that filled Declan's eyes was incomparable to anything else as he watched his mate in awe. The Beta's anger subsided and he could only watch his mate tare Bryn to shreds.
"I may or may not be gay but I sure as hell wouldn't mind being gay if it meant I'm with Declan and not with you," Kai's tone dripped with sweetness that contradicted heavily with the words he spoke.
"B-b-but—"
"B-b-but What?" Kai mocked the girl who glared with tears filling her eyes.
"You're my mate!" Her voice cracked.
Kai's eyes widened.
The f**k?

While everything was a rioting mess in the living room, on the opposite side of the floor was a relaxed Elliot who was playing with the Xbox that Vera bought him. Elliot felt like the luckiest boy in the world with Vera constantly finding someway to spoil him. Whether it was making him batches after batches of pastries or buying him things, Elliot was never lacking in the affection department in the pack house.
Vera adored Elliot as soon as she saw him and she wanted to do everything in her power to make him happy. In her mind, Elliot wasn't living a happy life back at his ex pack so she wanted to do what she could so his remaining childhood was one he could enjoy. Though, she hasn't been spoiling him much lately as she has her own children now, she makes up for it by forcing Chris to act like an older brother to Elliot.
Chris didn't mind, Elliot was a cool kid. He was a bit indifferent at times but he was mostly fun to be around. Aside from Finnick, Elliot was heavily innocent and that's what made him adorable and usually what made everyone treat him like he was there own child.
Chris was hanging out with Elliot when he disappeared to go retrieve Declan for Killian who was still discussing with Elijah pack construction plans. Killian pack linked Declan multiple times but Declan was so heated that he wasn't receiving anything and so Killian mind linked Chris and Marcus to get him, Chris being the one to do so.
Not effected much by Chris's disappearance, Elliot continued to play Fornite until he lost and decided to grab a snack from the kitchen. The omega stands, adjusting his shirt and begins his journey to the kitchen.
His eyes cast down, he turns a corner and hears the sound of a door being shut. Catching the sound, he lifts his head and his eyes catch Elijah's. The small boy was going to resume in his path to the kitchen but Elijah's stare seems to hold him in place. The omegas face flushes at the look that captured the alphas face.
With a calm briefness, Elijah says, "mate."
Elliot finds his stomach churning as the taller males eyes darken and he looked ready to take Elliot in his arms and never let go.
This terrified Elliot and he did what anyone who was scared in a situation like this would do.
He ran.
