I sat at my father's throne, looking out at the men of the council. I have seen some of these men before when my father would have meetings with them.  The royal council is a group of people who are all a part of various royal families. They are elected by various royal leaders to make everything fair. Some are ex kings and queens who passed their kingdoms down to their heirs. Some are princes, dukes, duchesses and marquess. Their job is to aide kingdoms in specific situations that may need an expert hand. Like if a leader dies without an heir, or decide if a war should waged. Apparently the situation of an unwed eighteen year old queen warrants a visit from them as well.
