The recitation ground is a holy place for Rayvin Academy. It has been around for as long as the school existed. Rabbi Humbledore with Vice-principal made sure with all the magic and powers left of the original to build and protect the school, binding all the powers on the recitation ground. Tampering with it means that the security of the school has weakened and it is no longer safe, which means that Evalon could have her way in no time. At worse, every dark creature would find its way through the broken veil to earth because that is the spot that demarcates the supernatural from the earth. And that sword is what has been turning them away for so long.
Mael is now completely overtaken by another spirit and the strong force of the full moon which is pushing him to look for blood has made him weak.
"Reveal yourself," he roars as there is another crack in the Ice.
There is a strong whooshing of wind, A rustling among the tree branches and unbearable cold. Harry and Melody are trembling from this sudden change but Mael stays put. If Hardy had his way he would have been long gone. Out of this insanity that Mael is driving them to. He has never been the one to utterly risk his beautiful body for adventure. Maybe he took risks once or twice but that was in a normal place. In an abnormal place, he isn't going to do that. Melody on the other hand is always fearless and eager to discover but she isn't up to the task for this.
Melody walks closer to Mael who is now facing the tree squarely, "Who are you talking to?"
He doesn't respond instead, a dark shadow towers over all of them. In the presence of the shadow, Harry and Melody turns to statues.
"Antigon! Antigon!" A very loud male voice calls from the shadow.
"Who are you and what do you want?"
"You are turning. Impressive." Circling Melody and Harry, "I take it that these are your friends. feeble creatures."
"Leave my friends alone!"
"Are they really your friends because you were seconds away from devouring them. The full moon is making you change."
"Aah!"
It happened very suddenly. The shadow makes two pairs of eyes visible and starred immediately into Mael’s eyes — and a sharp, hot pain shot across the birthmark on Mael’s back.“Ouch!” Mael tries to reach the birthmark with a hand.
“Feeling the pain?” says the shadow.“Y-yes. Why?.” The pain goes as quickly as it had come.
"That is the pain that comes with power. I brought you here because it is time."
"Time for what?"
"To let you know that you are a part of me."
"A part of you?"
"Omiri. My true descendant. One whom I have decided to reincarnate through. I am alive again because of you. I am the great Omiri!" His voice holding so much power. It sounds like that of a thousand might men. His last words put Mael into a trance...
Seconds later, everything is back to normal. Like nothing happened because none of the three could remember what had happened.
"Something doesn't seem right. I want to leave here," cries Harry.
"Okay. Let us find our way out of here before we end up in trouble."
It is starting to get uncomfortable because no one else is there apart from the three little novices and now they are away from the dormitories and main building. The ice once more begins to glimmer but the moon stays darkened. Harry begins to look around looking for an escape route out of there.
"How are we getting out of here?"
"I don't know," Mael says darkly.
"We..." Then a noise from nowhere makes them jump. Mael is still trying to find a way out for them when they hear someone speak.“Someone has accessed the forbidden area.”It is Mackenzie speaking to Professor Edward. Fear gripes them. Harry is on the edge of losing it when Mael clasps his mouth to mute him. Melody looking around desperately finds a hole and waves Mael and Harry to follow her as quickly as possible; they scramble silently toward the holer, away from Mackenzie’s voice. Harry’s legs have barely finished entering the hole when Mackenzie enter the Recitation ground through Hunters.
"Who dares to come here?"This way!” Mael mouths to the others and, frightened, they begin to creep down a long dark tunnel with no sign of light from anywhere. Mackenzie voice or steps is very faint and they have no idea particularly where she is. While creeping, something cold touches Harry and he out a cry and begins creeping faster and faster. They keep going with Mael in the lead, without an idea of what they were doing or where they were going.
That is the feeling of old times were both Harry and Mael got into a lot of trouble for trying to stay away from school. It was mostly bad news for Harry because he struggled with academics but Mael didn't. But ever since their arrival here, he has been doing well. Studying more and playing less. Except for now that they were on the verge of getting into trouble
