By evening Ines had calmed down. She hadn't become her usual self but Aaliyah was content that she had calmed down. She could only imagine the pain of losing both parents at an early age so she made sure to always be with her at her lowest.
"Ines" Aaliyah called
"Mmm?"
"Let's go out for coffee"
"But I want to stay here"
"You've been doing that all day. Get a glimpse of the sunset. I'm sure it's beautiful"
"Okay, let's go for coffee. But...". Ines said making Aaliyah chuckle. She was acting like her usual self a bit and that made her happy.
"Yes but?". Aaliyah asked with raised eyebrows and Ines smiled. It wasn't your usual smile. No. It was the smile that said "I'm an evil witch"
"You tell me why you never came back from your date yesterday". Ines told her.
