Chapter 10 Burning and Hot

No! He was not a gigolo.
She knew that Steven’s family ran a company. And if Mike was related to Steven, he couldn’t have been a gigolo at the least.
Moreover, he was not the man that Susan hired that year. So he could not be him.
Amy felt a little confused. She wondered if Susan indeed hired a gigolo that night, how could he be Steven? Maybe Steven went into the wrong room and the gigolo happened to not come?
The more she thought about it, the more confused she became. Even if she didn't have any feelings for Steven, she would feel better if he was the father of her children rather than a gigolo.
She felt Mike’s gaze fall upon her face. Amy consciously lowered her eyelids. But her eyes happened to see his two thin perfect lips.
Those lips kissed her this morning. And she touched him between the legs.
Remembering his private parts becoming bigger and hotter in her hand, her small face suddenly felt like it was on fire. And she had trouble breathing.
She glanced away hurriedly. And addressed him the same as Steven, "Mike."
Amy couldn’t help feeling nervous as she saw Mike frown. She thought he was angry with her because she called him a gigolo.
She was thinking about how embarrassing it would be to see each other if she and Steven tie knots. After all, he was Laurel and Logan’s uncle.
She cleared her throat and intended to say something to ease the relationship between her and Mike. "Well, Mike, I am sorry. I shouldn’t have said something so inappropriate to you this morning. Don't take it to heart. And I also don’t want the money you owe me.”
Steven looked at her and asked, "Amy, do you know him already? He owes you money?"
Mike ignored Steven and turned his head to look at her, "Your Apple Pay ID."
"What?" she was stunned. She did not understand what he meant.
"I will transfer the money to you."
"Oh," she responded and then told him her Apple Pay ID.
She felt so lame in front of him. Though she was an independent and intelligent woman, every time she faced him, she felt that there was something wrong with her.
Almost immediately, he transferred her the money through PayPal.
Steven was surprised to see Mike’s name in Amy’s contact list. Mike and Amy were in touch on w******p. He hadn’t added Mike on w******p.
He thought to add Mike on w******p and show it to his mother. Steven sent a message to Mike on w******p, but Mike ignored it.
He felt sad that he was turned down by Mike. "Why did you ignore my message?" Steven sighed and asked, "Mike, you don't love me, do you?"
Mike’s lips twitched. "I am sorry, I don’t like this."
I'm sorry, I don’t like this. Amy’s heart trembled. It seemed to her that he hated her.
The situation made her feel awkward. Luckily, her Aunt Patricia called her. She was happy that she could avoid embarrassment.
Her aunt told her that she would send her the divorce papers in the mail soon.
“Finally, it's time to sign.” She thought.
She wondered if she could start a new life and meet someone she could love as she was no longer bonded in a nameless marriage.
Steven began dreaming about his happy life with Amy and his children. He kept asking Amy to live with him in his villa.
Mike intervened to say, "Are you sure she can be able to live there with you?"
Steven paused what he was saying to hear what Mike had said. His villa was, in fact, a mess. Amy would be uncomfortable and scared if she went with him.
He resisted the urge to be with her and his children. Promising to meet her soon, he left reluctantly.
He decided to make his villa a home for Amy and her kids. He wanted to live with them as a family and never live without them again.

Amy signed the divorce agreement. And found herself losing sleep.
Whenever she thought of her new life, Mike’s face, featuring the deep outline, his noble expression and strong jaw, began to play tricks on her mind.
She kept thinking about his burning and hot private parts. The sight was engraved in her heart, like a demon.
The next morning with two black circles under her eyes, she reported at the Oncology Department of UCSF Medical Center.
The office door was smashed open as soon as she entered the room.
A tall and strong woman stood at the door angrily. She kept kicking the office door again and again. "Where is Amy? Ask her to come out here."
Amy did not know who this woman was. However, since she was calling her, she went up to her. "Ma’am, I am Amy. What happened?"
"How dare you, b***h. You seduced my husband. I will kill you!" The woman raised her hand to slap Amy.
Amy wasn’t a pushover. She grabbed the woman’s hand. "Mam, you must’ve made a mistake. I recently returned to town. How can I seduce your husband?”
Amy’s words made the woman take a step behind.
The woman's fat body was shaking, but when she thought of the ten thousand dollars Susan had given to her, she still braced herself to step forward. "b***h, Shame on you. You have the guts to seduce other men, but you don't dare to admit, how shameless you are.".
The woman saw a lot of people gathering around her, so she raised her voice.
"Everybody, come and have a look. This b***h seduces other women's husbands. Destroyed many families. Who dares to let her check you? Aren’t you afraid that your husband is fooled by her? What kind of a hospital is it? Can such a woman be even allowed to work here? Does the chairman also have an affair with her?”
Listening to the woman’s accusations about her, Amy’s face turned red. "What proof do you have to prove that I seduced your husband?"
"Do you need proof? I saw you sleeping with my husband, and my husband admitted it. You b***h, you don't deserve to be a doctor. Where is the head of this hospital? I want him to fire you." The woman yelled at her loudly so that people could hear her.
Her words caused a muttered discussion amongst the people around.
"I can’t believe a young girl like her is such an indecent woman."
"It's shameless to seduce someone else's husband."
"Where is the decency for girls these days? How can such people come to work in the hospital? A woman like her should be fired."
"Yes, fire her! Who dares to see a doctor in this hospital unless they fire her? What if my husband is also seduced by her?"
Hearing the noisy commotion happening outside, Zach, the Director of the Oncology Department has stepped outside. When the woman saw him, she rushed to him and asked, "Are you the head? Your doctor seduced my husband. You must solve this problem for me today."
