“How was the party last night? You came home earlier than expected which is a good thing”, Delia asked as I came down the stairs with my bag on my back. “I was alright, Zack’s picking me up soon”, I told her, “and I wouldn’t be needing any more brown bags”, I added. “But I made your favorite today”, she pouted. “Thanks, I’ll eat it later when I get back, there is food offer at the school you know”, I said. “I know, but since you started high school you always took lunch with you. It’s strange now that you don’t”, she explained. “How about I take the bag and give it to Jen? Been a while since I last saw her”, she asked.
