Present Day Phoenyx Coming back to the waking world was never an easy thing. Typically for Phoenyx it involved an inherent amount of pain from the wound inflicted both before and while she was unconscious. This time there were notable differences to her usual routine. The first of which being, her head was not pounding out a multitude of beats from wounds that throbbed with each beat of her heart. A lack of suck markings meant she had not fallen or been beaten about the head once she had lost consciousness. Next, came the slow and careful inventory of her body to catalogue what wounds she did have. This examination began in the same way it always had.
