The night is very calm no one is present on the roads. It is a cold night in December. The full moon is glowing giving light to the dark night.
A couple is going somewhere. The husband is driving the car and the wife is talking about her experience.
The wife is 9 months pregnant soon she will give birth to their first child.
"how long Sagar my back is killing me and your son isn't helping me," The wife whined
"Just half an hour more Aarika. We will reach, and it is my daughter," Sagar replied
"How are you so sure that its a girl? I'm the mother should not I feel it?" Aarika asked
" I know it it is my princess no arguments about it," Sagar said
In talking to his wife he didn't notice a car is coming from the wrong side and before he can do anything the car collided with his car badly injuring his wife...
He only got a cut on his head but Aarika fainted as her head was smashed to the window...
The car with they collided is badly damaged.
A man came out from the car he is also injured.
"Please help me out my wife has fainted," Sagar pleaded to the man
He helped him to drag Aarika out of the car.
"I'm really sorry I didn't notice your car coming." the man said
"It was both of our faults but now I need help my wife need immediate treatment," Sagar said
The road was empty no vehicle was passing by...
The man called the ambulance and it came after half an hour.
They all were taken to the hospital...
In the way of hospital Sagar and the man lost his consciousness as well.
When Sagar got his consciousness back he wanted to ask about his wife he asked the doctor about it but the doctor didn't answer him...
"doctor please tell me how is my wife? She is pregnant please tell me," Sagar asked
"Mr Sagar your wife is no more. She was already dead when she reaches here. But your child is lucky enough she survived. We have operated her and she has given birth to a healthy girl child." the doctor said and it is like the hell broke loose
Sagar could not believe that he lost his wife his Aarika whom he loves so much more than his life. He could not understand should he cry that he lost his wife or be happy that he became a father. God took his wife but give him his daughter...
His tears didn't stop he screamed in agony... He remembered their talks and banters on their child. She was very much excited for their child because before it they have suffered 2 miscarriages...
But all her dreams are shattered. She gives birth but she isn't here to see their daughter.
No one stops him from crying because they know what he loses...
After 3 hours he controls himself and wanted to see his daughter his precious gem.
The nurse gives him his daughter. He was awed by looking at her face. She was like an angel his angel. She was so tiny and cute...
"you're very precious to Me baby. Because you're the only one I left in my life. Your mother and I both were orphan we have no one except each other. And now she also left me to promise me, Baby, you won't leave me" Sagar said as more tears make ways from his eyes
Aarika and Sagar both were from the same orphanage. Sagar is only two years elder then Aarika. They bought up together as best friends and fell in love. They completed their studies and left the orphanage. They found jobs and then settled with each other. They stayed together for 5 years as a married couple. Now everything was gone...

After 3 days Sagar took his daughter his home. Sagarika needed some treatments that's why she was in the hospital. Aarika's last rituals were done...
Not for once Sagar blamed his daughter for his wife's death. Because that's what most people do. Blaming the child for killing their mother but in this case, her mother died before she took birth.
Sagar didn't know how to take care of a child and he wasn't in a state to remarry for two reasons one he can't give Aarika's place to anyone else and another is that what if his second wife neglected his daughter? After thinking this he didn't marry...
He learnt everything from his neighbour who is a kind, old lady.
He was handling his job and his daughter.
Time passed and Sagarika started to question about her mother.
She saw that her every friend has a mother then why she don't? Many of her classmates have bullied her saying that she is a bad girl that's why her mother isn't with her...
That day she cried very much and asked Sagar. She never questions Sagar about anything. She is a mature kid but when the topic is her mother she doesn't know what to say...
Sagar understands her feelings. He has suffered from the same thing.
He told his daughter that her mother was too good and God needed her help that's why he took her with him. Little Sagarika believes her father and told her bullies about it. She told them that she isn't a bad girl but as usual they didn't stop it.
Sagarika was turning into a teenager she has started to understand everything. From childhood, she is a brilliant student and a mature girl. She never demands anything from her father because she knows he will give her everything he can afford if she asked and he could not give then it will make him sad. She is her fathers' obedient daughter and star of his eyes. He loves her very much. For her, he is her both parents...
Both father-daughter is living in peace and is very much happy in their small home. They are lower middle class but that hasn't made any difference in her life. She has her best friends who love her without any selfish reasons...
All the boys of her class and elders are behind her. Because of her beauty but she never paid any attention to them...
