Chapter-4

Sagarika's pov

I came back home shivering like a leaf. My wet clothes and the cold wind aren't helping me...

Achu! I started sneezing great that's what I need now. 

I go to my room and change my dress but not before taking a bath. 

After that, I make a strong ginger tea for me. I need it very bad. 

My head is starting to ache. God please no fever. Do I need to take care of papa if I will be ill myself then how will I take care of him? 

I should take medicine as a precaution. 

I took a pill and gulped it down. After that, I decided to clean my room. I haven't cleaned it yesterday. 

After that I got tired so decided to not cook for myself. One packet of instant noddles and I'm done. 

After eating it I felt sleepy the medicine was kicking in.. 

I locked the door and windows properly before going to sleep. 

Next morning came early than I expected. I woke up at 6 am and started to do my regular chores. I made breakfast for myself that is bread and butter. I make papa's room ready. 

I need to go and bring him from the hospital as well. 

After all the work I decided to take a shower and go to the hospital. 

I wore a navy blue top and white and blue colour palazzo. I left my hair open as they are still wet. 

I called my besties to help me because I have got a strict order from them to call them. 

They said they are on the way and will pick me up from my house. 

Good for me only. 

I waited for 10 minutes for them and they came. 

And to my surprise, Aadarsh was with them as well. 

Both girls came out with a smile and hugged me. Asked me if I'm OK or not. 

Prisha is wearing a sky blue colour jumpsuit and Pratyusha is wearing a white top with blue ripped jeans. 

"girls we should get going, it's late," Pratyusha said and we nodded 

Prisha opened the car door and saw Aadarsh who is looking handsome as always in his black shirt. 

She sat with him and I and Pratyusha sat down at back.

"aren't you busy or something? You are wasting your time for me from yesterday." I said to him

He removed his goggles and looked at me via the rearview mirror with a raised brow.

"and who said I'm wasting my time? Using my time to help you is can be anything but waste so chill. Don't think about it too much." he said flashing me his million dollars smile

Unknowingly my cheeks redden at this. Can it be possible he also like me?

Nah it is not possible we both are different. He has many better and more beautiful girls than I always roam around. Why will he like me?

What is wrong with you Sagarika? Your papa is ill and you're thinking about this?

Suddenly I started to sneeze. Why now? It was stopped after I took the pill.

"did you got drenched yesterday? I told you to come with us but no you didn't listen see now you caught cold,"

I got shocked hearing these words because it's coming from Aadarsh. 

Prisha and Pratyusha have the same look like mine on their face as I have on mine. 

He noticed that and realised what he has said. 

" what? Why are you looking at me like I'm some ghost? I only told her out of concern. Uncle is ill if she also got ill then how will she take care of him." he said but I can see the little red colour on his cheeks 

Is he blushing? 

"yeah we understand that," Pratyusha said in her duh tone but her face has a I need to find about it more look 

The rest of the journey was silent except of course my sneezing sounds. 

We reached the hospital and soon we bring him back. 

Aadarsh offered to pay the bill but I denied him politely saying that it is not needed the office will bear it. 

He dropped us to our home and ask me to contact him directly if I need any help. 

Prisha And Pratyusha also said the same thing. They left after some time. 

Papa was resting in his room so I thought to make lunch for us. 

I made chicken soup for papa as the doctor has asked him to eat soup for at least two or three days then he can follow his normal diet. 

I also drank the soup only. 

I give papa medicines on time.

I decided to find some job. I have to try for it now. 

I started to search online but all needed highly qualified staff. 

But I need to do something about it. Some job I will get somewhere. There has to be one. 

After my futile attempts, I decided to go to Rohan House. I didn't go yesterday. 

Time passed and my days were going on like that. Its two weeks from the incident and papa has started going to work as well. I have found one small part-time job in my college library... 

"Sagarika," Someone calls my name 

I turn around to see its Advik... 

"yes" I replied to him 

"um tomorrow is my birthday and I'm giving a party to my college mates tonight as tomorrow my family is celebrating it with our family traditions. So I want you to come. It is in   " STARLIGHT " club please come and bring Prisha and Pratyusha as well. I have invited them as well but you know Prisha. Its a request please make her come with you, "He said with a puppy dog eyes 

He is looking cute how can I say no to him? But I don't go to clubs I don't like it. 

" Advik I don't like clubs. And moreover, If Prisha doesn't want to go then how can I bring her? I'm sorry I can't come, "I said with a heavy heart 

His face fall when I denied him. poor guy loves that girl very much. 

" it's ok if you can't come, if not her but please you come. It's booked by my bro for tonight party so only our college mates and my brother's friends will be there no one else. You won't feel any uneasiness." he said 

"ok, I will come and bring Prisha as well. Now smile, the sad look doesn't suit you." I said and his face lit up like a Christmas tree 

"Thanks, Sagarika, you're really good, bye will meet you tonight," he said and go away smiling 

Now I have to make Prisha agree. 

I go and find her cursing someone. She is in a bad mood I guess. 

"What happened to her?" I asked through my eyes to Pratyusha 

"Advik," she mouthed and I understand what's the reason 

"Prisha, Pratyusha you know I was thinking to go to Advik's party I really need a break. I'm tired of my regular routine. Will you both come? If you came then only I will go otherwise no." I said loudly and clearly 

"yeah I'm also thinking to go," Pratyusha joined me 

"last time I checked you hated clubs what changed?" Prisha asked glaring at me 

"yes I hate clubs but tonight there will be only our college mates and his brothers' friends. So it won't be a problem. Come with me na. I want to enjoy a little. If you don't want to go it's ok. I won't go as well." I said with a fake sad face 

"oye, zyada Nautanki ki zarurat nahi hain. Main sab samajh rahi hu. Par main sirf Tere liye jaungi Aur kisike liye Nahi. (don't do too much drama I know very well what is happening here. I'm only going for you, not for anyone else.)" Prisha said 

" Tu A rahi hain? (you're coming?) " I asked her 

" ha (yes) "she replied 

" thank you so much for it, "I said to her 

" by the way have you decided what to wear tonight? "Prisha asked me 

Oh s**t, I forgot about that totally. I don't have dresses or anything. 

I nodded my head as no. 

" pata hi tha Mujhe (I knew it already) "She said shaking her head 

" Come on you're coming with us you will wear my dress. I will dress you up today. "Prisha said with a mischievous smile whenever she smiles like that she has something naughty running in her head 

" Prisha doesn't do anything mischievous, "I warned her 

" don't worry babe I won't, "she said and drag me with her
