Sagarika's pov

Mumma, I'm dead today.

Hissss!

Hissss!

I know you're here don't hiss and scare me more then I'm already.

This snake is so big and has wrapped my leg completely.

If I stir a little it will bite me.

And dam it my freaking phone isn't working.

Today is your end Sagarika.

Papa sorry for leaving you alone. Sorry for not being a good daughter. I didn't say goodbye to you. I will miss you very much. 

Pratyusha sorry for not listening to you today. I will miss you.

Prisha I didn't even say goodbye to you. I will miss you all.

I said in a whisper

Suddenly I heard a sound like someone is walking here.

Oh god did someone came to save me?

A silhouette came in my view.

"Who are you? Whoever you're please help me," I said to the man

"What happened to you?" the man asked

he isn't from our College batch because the voice is deep and mature.

But why it feels familiar? 

"sir a snake has wrapped himself on my leg. Please help me," I pleaded to the man

The man flash the torch on my face. 

Wait I also have torch why the hell I off it?

I switched on the torch and looked at the man who is now watching my leg.

Holy cow! He is Advik's elder brother whom I slapped.

But what the hell he is doing here?

"Ms Stay as you are don't move. I will do something," he said and I stood there as I was

It's not like I want to die by moving.

Whenever he is trying to touch the snake it's hissing at him.

It can harm him as well. How can I ask someone to take the risk because of me?

" sir leave it. It can harm you. I'm sorry for asking for help." I apologise to him

"will you stay quiet for some time? Let me check it," The man snapped at me

OK, I should shut up now.

After some more time, the man is able to throw the snake away by using a branch of a tree.

I cried in relief and did the most awkward thing.

No brownie points for guessing what I did. 

I hugged the man tightly because I was scared for my life.

"thank you so much for saving my life sir," I said and the man has to stiffen 

Shit! What did I do? I broke the hug immediately 

"I'-I'm so-sorry I did-didn't mean too," I stuttered badly 

"Its OK ms. I can understand your feelings right now. The snake is a poisonous one so I will suggest you move out of this place. And why are you here in the first place? In this time forest isn't safe." the man said 

"Actually I came here because of a dare." I quietly said 

"stupid college students," He murmured but I heard it 

"excuse me did you just called us stupid?" I asked him 

Yeah, I know he saved me but who the hell he is to tell that I'm stupid? 

"yes, I did. Because you all included my brother is stupid. Who comes and send a girl in this time in the forest? Anyways come with me or you can stay here I won't mind." The man said and started to walk away 

I ran behind him because I don't want to stay here alone. But he is right in his point. 

" sir what are you doing here? "I asked him to kill the silence 

" not stalking you that's for sure, "He replied arrogantly. 

Rude much. 

" to kya Teri puja Karega? Pichli Baar Jo Kiya hain tune uske bad usne Teri madad ki Yahi bohot hain. (so will he worship you? After what you did last time he is helping you is a big thing.) "My subconscious said and like every time she is right 

" I'm sorry sir, "I said again I know it's futile to cry over split milk but what can I do except it? 

" for what? "he asked me stopping at the middle 

Jaise ki apko pata nahi kyu? (like you don't know why?) 

" for that day at the party. I should not have slapped you. But I was scared for my friend and it was a misunderstanding. Please forgive me, "I managed to say with his predator gaze on me

"It is OK, "He replied and I my jaw hit the ground

" OK? Aren't you angry with me? "I asked him 

" if I was then you would have been dead by now I won't have helped you. I understand your part but from next time think before you say or do anything. Because you can't be undone what you did or can't take back what you said. So be careful. "he replied casually 

" I will surely remember it. "I said and we started our journey in silence 

" I came here with other teachers. If you don't know then let me enlighten you that I'm the trustee of your college. So I can go on any trip I want, "he informed me cutting the silence 

What? Did I slap my college's trustee as well? 

God kill me, please... 

I didn't say anything to him. 

" What is your name? "He asked me 

" Sagarika Mehra sir, "I replied to him 

" I'm Aadyansh Raheja, "he said to me 

Wow, he has a unique name. It sounds too hot, wait what? Did I just say his name is hot? 

God, what the hell has happened to me? Why I'm thinking about these things. 

Bawli ho rahi hu main Lagta hain. 

(it's like I'm getting mad) 

We are walking again but the camp isn't coming. 

" sir how long it will take us to reach? "I asked him 

" I don't know seems like we are lost. In this dense forest, it's difficult to make out your way. I came here to find the network in the phone but here Is no network. "he replied and panic engulfed me 

God, what will happen now? We both are lost in this forest. What if again some animal came? 

Tears rolled down by my eyes. 

" hey ms. Mehra why are you crying? Don't cry until I'm here nothing can harm you, we will reach safely. Maybe your group has started their search mission for you as well." he said and I hope he is right 

We walked a little more and hear water sound. 

"sir I guess there is a pond or river or something. Should we go there?" I asked him 

"yes we should," He said and we follow the sound 

We reach lakeside. It is not so big not so small as well. 

The place is so beautiful. 

"We should stay here until someone finds us. The battery of my phone is dying. It is futile to walk in darkness." he said and I said OK 

I was thirsty because of all the crying I did. 

I hope it's clear but I don't have any other options as well. 

I drank the water and sat on the side. 

Suddenly the place filled with fireflies. 

Oh god, they're so many. 

"sir see this it's so beautiful," I Said to him indicating to the fireflies

He didn't reply but was looking at the scene.

I was smiling like a kid I captured some pics of this scene.

"really beautiful," He said looking at my side

I look behind me there were so many fireflies.

"yes they are," I said

"I'm not talking about them," He said and I looked at him in shock

"huh?" I asked

Kya bol rahe hain? (what is he saying?) 

"I mean the place is also beautiful," He added

"oh yeah, that is true. In this, all drama something good happen." I told him

"Everything has a reason for its happening. Now sit here and enjoy it is not that we can do anything else," he said and I obliged

We have a good amount of distance between us that I'm glad for.

I'm so tired and want to sleep only.

But I can't sleep in this middle of the forest with a stranger.

" yeah the stranger whom you hugged and talked so long." my subconscious mocked me

"if you're tired you can sleep I won't take advantage of you nor I will let anything harm you. You can trust me in this." He said and he is sincere that I know by his voice

"It is not like that sir. I'm here with you because I know you won't harm me. I can trust you." I said and bite my lips

Why I talk too much? Sochna nahi hain bas bak dia. (don't think a bit just ramble things) 

Thankfully he didn't say anything about it.

I tried my best to not sleep but I failed and dozed off.
