Aprils POV
I laid back against the pillows on the comfiest bed I had ever slept in and closed my eyes for a while. After all the crying and exhaustion my eyes needed a rest as did the rest of me.
I wasn't sure what I'd done to deserve Mia looking after me the way that she did. I thought it might be for Lucas but after she gave Doctor Arnolds her orders I knew she was putting me first. It was a kindness I didn't think I deserved.
I could hear Mia pottering around in the bathroom, switching on the taps and the water running. The squeezing of tubes and other little noises that were too quiet to make out, even with werewolf hearing.
All too soon Mia came back out.
"Your bath is ready Luna"
Bless her! She came over to the bed and helped me out. I thought I'd be ok without her but
