Lerisa nervously greeted Anthony's father, "Good afternoon, sir." "Welcome, Lerisa. How are your parents doing?" Mr. Joshua asked. "They're fine, sir," Lerisa replied. "Hmm," Mr. Joshua hummed as he settled into a dining chair beside his wife. Lerisa noticed that it was already past 1 PM, and she really wanted to leave Anthony's family house. However, since Anthony's mother had invited her to join them for lunch, she felt obliged to stay. She hadn't expected the whole family to have lunch together, and it had been a while since she had shared a meal with Anthony and his family. As she glanced down in embarrassment, she saw Anthony coming down the stairs. She knew he respected his parents, even if their requests didn’t align with his wishes.
