5 I packed enough clothes to last four days, give or take a few reuses. As I tossed the last pair of socks into the small suitcase, a loan from Chloe, I started back at the sudden entrance of Gwill through the wall in front of me. He held up the tiny journal of Lord Blisse. “You dropped this out in the garden.” “Thanks,” I murmured as I took the book and it joined the other articles in the suitcase. I tied the small trunk closed, but paused with my hands on the clasp and leaned over the bed.
