Chapter One
Chapter One 'Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday dear Emma, Happy birthday to you' My 5 best friends sang. I smiled. It was kinda embarrassing. We were in the middle of a bar, a place I'm not even old enough to be in or to drink in for that matter, with my friends as they sang Happy Birthday. It was made even more embarrassing at the fact they got the DJ to turn off the music and the place was full of people. I turned around and buried my face into Angel's chest, while the others just laughed. 'Come on Chicken, blow out the candles' He yelled a little too loudly. I heard the guys chuckle at his use of my nick name. A nick name I have had to put up with since I was 8. Angel christened me Chicken the first day I met him. It was Benny who actually introduced me to the guys.  I moved here, to Salt Lake City when i was 8 with my parents and brothers. I know it might seem strange, A group of lads befriending a young girl, but it was totally innocent. Benny was my neighbour, so the guys were always around, playing their music loud and even when I was younger, I was in to the same kind of music as they were, so we kind of... Bonded over that.  They were always super protective over me, which i loved... No one else was. 'Come on babe, blow!' Angel demanded. The guys started sniggering even more. I rolled my eyes at how childish they were and leaned forward over the table to do what I was told. After I was done, the guys went mad cheering, it made me smile. I love these guys, they’re the best.  'What did you wish for?' Kip asked. I looked up and smiled. 'I'm not telling because then it wont come true, I'm sticking to the rules Kipper' He pouted at the use of his fall name. 'Smile, it's my birthday, I don't want to see my baby frown' I flirted a little. He suddenly started smiling again. 'I’m older than you, so you are my baby' He stuck his tongue out. Don't get confused, Me and Kip aren't together nor am I with any of the others, we are just super close best friends. We joke around and flirted a lot but that's just normal behaviour for us.  The DJ put the music back on and everyone started dancing again. I shifted on Angel's lap, feeling uncomfortable from sitting down too long. 'I want to dance, some one dance with me, pleaseeeeeeee??' I whined. Matt rolled his eyes and stood up, taking me up my request, 'Thanks Matty' He walked around the table and grabbed my hand, pulling me up and we headed off on to the dance floor. Just as we got on to it, Lollipop by Framing Hanley came on the sound system. We kept apart, dancing happily, but as we got more into the song, Matt pulled me close and started grinding against me, I didn’t care. It was all innocent. When the song ended and a new one started, we continued, having fun dancing together to take much notice.  We broke apart and headed back over to our friends, Matt dropped an arm over my shoulder, but I just really needed a drink. Walking off the dance floor, the other guys were already coming towards us, I was super happy to see that Kip was bringing my drink with him.  'Do I get to dance with the birthday girl?’ Zane asked, putting his hand out. 'Of course! Let me just..’ I trailed off and took my drink off Kip, downing it in one. The alcohol instantly went to my head and I stumbled back, Zane caught me and he took my hand and we headed back out, Followed close behind by the others.
