He is awake. Thorn is awake! I want to hug him until he cannot breathe.
But instead, I walk away before he can speak to me. These past three days have been one of the hardest days of my life. I wanted him to open his eyes and tell me that it wasn't because of my necklace that he got injured. I needed him to prove to me that I didn’t bring a curse to his life.
With a burdened heart, I prayed to the moon goddess to give him back to me. Once again, the moon goddess answered my prayer but I’m running from it. As thoughts of him travel like a train in my mind, I head out of the pack house to think outside. I don’t want to bump into Thorn, he will force me to explain myself and I am one complicated string of webs.
