Calvin had this idea ever since someone was trying to separate them before the accident. It was enough to prove that someone wanted Kathryn dead.
“That’s not a surprise,” Kathryn said. This was what she initially thought, but since she didn’t know anyone in the Western Islands, she quickly dispelled that thought from her mind. But now that Calvin said it himself, Kathryn found it highly plausible, “And I think I know who wanted me dead.”
