Chapter Sixty-Eight – Pieces of Past
Wilhelm’s POV
These rogues had something underneath, something they were hiding. For the time being, I wanted to forget them and leave all these to the twins and Stan.
I still wanted to get Aida, we got paid for that job. And Harold, the little rapid healer. If he was close, Stan wouldn’t have struggled so much.
And the gifted Esme, if she’s close then Stan wouldn’t need to fight. Xenos had a similar gift but the twins weren’t really built to fight. They were very good at feints though.
I needed to have those three, especially Aida, to be sure what the hell her gift was. They had tarried for long.
Since we found out she was here, I had some members find her in werewolf only parties but they got nothing. Could she be in a different name here?
