After making my suggestion, to stop searching for Aida and stop bothering Red’s Pack, Xander had laughed.
It’s been an hour already and I had returned to my throne, but that laughter still tormented me.
He had agreed with my suggestion, saying it was best and the members will actually be excited to know.
But did he laugh because he thought I was being a coward? I couldn’t help but think so.
Perhaps, knowing he’s a Beta’s son, made me to see him, unconsciously, as a rival, even if he wouldn’t be the Beta. Meanwhile, I didn’t even know who I was.
