Chapter Twenty-Eight – The Council
Aida’s POV
I wondered if it was Alpha Red who requested it but I was glad that the council placed the summoning on Saturday.
I hadn’t realized it but I was a week at my new job already. I’ve done a lot of business deals and even got attacked by a business partner, all in one week.
My work life will be very exciting, I could tell.
Esme had advised me to drive to the location of the council instead of taking the forest path as I’d have to shift to get there. I was going with my mother so I took a cab.
