Chapter Eighty-Three – Sir Zebedee
Aida’s POV
Klaus was no where to be found at the entrance.
I quickly got into the building and exhaled when he wasn’t inside and no one had seen me moving like a thief.
I saw Miss Li at her table and rushed to her.
She smiled on sighting me and before I could speak, she held my arm. “Aida dear, we are friends, right? Would you introduce me to your brother some time?”
“Huh?”
I looked at the time on the wall clock. Mom said I should be home before evening.
“Um… sure. I will.” I smiled at Miss Li and she smiled back. If Sir Zebedee was here then Sir Zachary probably wasn’t.
And Sir Zebedee will be reinstated as my boss soon. I wondered if that’s what he wanted to speak about.
I had been to the Manager’s office before so I led myself there. I stood
