Chapter Sixty – Disdain
Aida’s POV
It was all werewolves could worry about. I got bothered that I didn’t hear of the situation earlier but rather through these boys that I should avoid.
Now, I ask myself. Why did they tell me? And why did they bother? Did he know my actual identity?
I studied Xander’s expression as he walked me to the intersection. I’d really appreciate it if I saw him less.
We had met suddenly and he randomly told me that the King of rogues were after all gifted werewolfs. My mother had confirmed it, after seeing many texts from Mia.
I couldn’t decipher if they were gifted wolves or what their gifts were. They had never said anything like that. Perhaps they were just telling me like some werewolf gossip.
