We both said at the same time which made us turn to look at each other. If we weren’t suspicious before, then, our lies that weren’t even close to being similar were going to get the job done and sealed off. There was no way we were not an interest in the eyes of Alex. Why did Jax open his stupid mouth and say anything? I didn’t even wear false lashes so how could they be getting into my eyes because real lashes obviously didn’t hurt. It was only when single ones fell in the eyes that they hurt and irritated the eyes. How dumb was he to have thought of that lie?
