Like so many other times, Niklaus left me feeling confused. I was fast coming to the conclusion that he enjoyed seeing people confused, because that was the only explanation why he always delivered shocking statements at the times that they were most unexpected.
Perhaps it healed a broken part of his blackened heart or even revived some area of the dead organ in his chest.
