Now, I was sure that he was punishing me for talking to Alex. It was not enough that he already had the poor man somewhere underground going through goddess alone knew what. He still wanted to make me suffer. I just about stopped myself from snarling at him and took in a calming breath. I didn’t desire death that much.
“I haven’t had anything to eat all day and I just want to go get something to eat. Please”
The last word was forced out through clenched teeth as all the muscles in my body protested the word leaving my mouth to the monster that was before me.
“Go in and take your pick of whatever you want”
He waved me off as he picked up a folder from the other side of the table and began to leaf through it.
“Um, I don’t quite understand” I said, scratching the back of my head
