I was standing in front of where my mother’s body was cremated. Small plants and grass started to grow around that area. My mother gives her energy for the growth of these plants and grass. The whole place was filled with silence. Mom always hates silence. She never will sit alone. She always says that sitting alone brings her into her past. It disturbs her. I don’t know why she manages to lie in this silence. Today I am standing in front of my mom with a relaxed heart. I started to feel that I could finish my duty
to protect my pack. I have always feared that I would lose as a Luna. But Tyson’s words lifted my confidence.
“I will make you proud Mom”.
I put the flowers at my mom’s cremated place. Then I stand there for a few minutes silently.
