Chapter 73: Like a hero, I come.

"SOS? What the f**k is going on?"
Just when I thought that I can rest for a bit before making my party some gears... Blossom sends me an SOS signal like I know where they are and willing to come to save their asses. Well, I am willing to go where they are for the sake of testing out my gears, but I don't know where they are...
My map are still covered with darkness. I can see the icon of my party. But I don't know the best way to get there. I can try to reverse engineered the map out when I make my way. But, I would prefer to not overthink anything right now due to some fatigue that has been building out from grinding...
'Blossom, can you tell Kaixen to go and pick me up? I'm too lazy to go there by myself.'
I decided to call for Kaixen because he's the fastest player out of the three of them. At least, I hoped that he can come to pick me up.
'Sorry, OneSec! But we're in a massive predicament right now! Can you please come to us? We cannot afford to lose any more member against this mini boss!'
'Alright. I'm on my way.'
When I heard that Blossom says something like that... It's not a good sign for anyone. They're really not in a place where they can afford to lose anyone in the party. In order for all of them to survive, all of them need to be together.
"Well, since the situation is interesting. It wouldn't hurt me to go out and find them out..."
I'm the fastest player anyway. So... GODSPEED!
Instantly, I take my form to sprint and wear my equipment at the same time... With that completed, I immediately make my way straight to the wilderness and try to find the area where my party is.
While OneSec is making his way toward the party, The party situation hasn't been going any better... With Mercy wounded from tanking a hit for Blossom, Mercy was forced to put her focus more on dodging rather than attacking.
That proves to be bad for the party because they doesn't have any source of damage with Mercy focusing on dodging. She's the only one who can give damage from afar.
As the fight goes longer, everyone started to get more and more exhausted from the mental suffering they suffered when they faced the mini boss. They're genuinely panicking. But at the same time, they cannot do anything to press the boss to gain more time...
That's when the boss reached Blossom...
"Ah, it's over..."
With despair lingering right in front of her, Blossom just accepted the fate that she's dying right here and right now. After all, she's also dead tired from running around...
"Blossom!"
Kaixen immediately rushed toward Blosom. But he's too late. Blossom is going to die without Kaixen being able to protect her...
At least, everyone thought that...
"Yo... At least be aware of your map."
An off hand dagger that purposefully crafted to deflect attacks, appears from the edge of Blossom's vision. A new figure appear on their map. Everyone immediately let out a sigh of relief when they see who is there with them.
"Took you long enough, OneSec."
That's what Blossom muttered. Everyone there has the same thought as Blossom. OneSec, is indeed late for the party.
"Well, You couldn't blame me for f**k sake. Trying my best here too!"
I parried the boss sword once. It tries to immediately swing all seven of his swords. But, I saw that coming from miles away and I already prepared a counter using my King's Fang.
"Centering, Focus, and Release!"
I centered my body to its whole left side and immediately swing my King's Fang down without any worry... All four of its limbs were cut off in an instant without much effort.
"What?! He can just do that?!"
"None of our attack was working! When he attacks, he can?!"
"That gear looks different... Is that the reason why his attack connects?"
Blossom, Kaixen and Mercy is obviously shook when they see me cutting the boss limbs. Understandably so, they've been fighting for a while and none of their attack is connecting.
"Do you guys really think that the Devs would just let you speed run the entirety of Coggensville without proper gear crafted in the Coggensville? That defeats the purpose of the floor entire being."
It's easy to understand the game if you understand the devs. After talking to Tywin, it's easy to know more about the game behind the scene. Because of that added knowledge, I can easily determined what's going to be happening in the game. Including, unknown boss knowledge...
"Oh no you ain't."
After cutting its entire left side, I gained some time to talk to the party. But that doesn't mean the boss is going to stop attacking. In fact, the boss has taken its stance once more to attack me. With the rest of his four limbs.
"Lethal Torture."
Two saw appear out of nowhere and immediately chopped off all the remaining limbs... Its arms, legs, all gone. It's just nothing but a torso now that's falling down slowly...
"Well, this is no fun."
I just use Phantom Flicker and stomp the head of the boss down. It turns quickly into spare parts...
"With that, my job is complete..."
It's not that hard. In fact, the boss is very easy and I think the reason why the boss is easy is because my equipment is already Perfect Graded. This boss is considered as an early boss. So, normal graded item is enough to defeat the boss when you time your attack properly.
Since I'm so strong with my Draconic Set, and King's Daggers set... This much is nothing but a child's play...
I look at my party who's looking very dead. Not like dead dead. But just tired out of their mind. Understandable, but very pathetic considering they're three of some of the best player in the world alongside me. They learned a lot of stuff from me so, this is very... Embarrassing...
"Well, I guess it's also my fault to not give you guys a proper gear before sending you off to the wilderness... I'm sorry for that."
"Don't be. It's our fault that we stupidly wonder into the wilderness without any proper gear anyway."
"Exactly. We're just too lazy to learn how to make our own gear despite us having our own smithy as well. So, don't blame yourself, OneSec."
"Yeah. It's us who's sorry to bother you when you're still grinding..."
Mercy, Kaixen and Blossom immediately realize their mistake. Which I just sigh it off...
"Well then. Either you continue exploring or go with me to make your gear. The choice is yours now."
"We want to make our gear!"
"Great! Then let's go back and craft your gear. We don't have much time to waste."
With the meeting in four days, every second worth a lot. So, without wasting any time, we make our way back to Coggensville most Northern side...
