The Event Ended beautifully. With me going around and killing everyone on the way there... Our score easily past 30.000 Mark.
And now that the Event ended. We were teleported to our Lounge in Atlantis. We watch the Broadcast of the Event.
"Alright folks. The First place. With 35.120 Points. It's a team of 4 people from 'Paradies' Guild. It's OneSec, Kaixen, Mercy and Blossom! CONGRATULATIONS!!! On winning 100.000 Gold in game, 40.000 Cash, First Place Trophy that can be put in the Guild, Official Merchandise, Such as Jacket, Shirt and Sneakers. Congratulations once again! Please look forward to the next event!"
Wow... We still get quite the amount of money huh... That's nice. And we got first place trophy that we can put in guild. I would like to put more to my Trophies collection in the Real world. But this is fine as well. It's easier. And Official Merchandise! It would be nice if they put all of our character side by side.
We keep the broadcast running and we look at our Mails. We were sent 100.000 Gold each. Which is a lot of Gold. And we're going to get 40.000 Cash as well. I don't know if it's each member. I hope it is.
I put the Trophy beside Poseidon Trophy. It looks really good to be honest. Our Guild Reputation skyrocketed for sure. I look at the Guild List and the Highest Reputation is Paradies. With only 4 Member and a lot of Member Slots available.
It's amazing how small our guild are compare to other people guild. They have Hundreds of member while Paradies. Only have 4. And we still crush them like that...
It's laughable for sure. It's unfair and funny at the same time...
"Ah. The Event has ended. Let's log out and eat!"
Mercy said. Everyone including me agree. We haven't go to the bathroom for 7 Hours. So it's probably better if we go. We log out and immediately. I see Michi running straight to the bathroom. I don't really have the Urge pee or anything. So I go downstairs and drink a lot of water.
"Ah... That felt nice..."
I muttered. I always like how the water flow down my throat nicely... It gives me the satisfaction. I want to drink some more... But I need to pace myself.
It's already almost evening. It's 5 PM. I need to actually finish my Short Film for the Director. I want to get into Michi Semester. It's a bit cheaty but... I honestly don't care.
I just want to be with her since... Being with her is where I belong. Even if we're not talking. Being in her presence is just nice.
I know that she's been stressing out about her projects lately. But for some reasons. Things still turn out fine for her. So I'm really happy about that.
Anyway. I cook something simple for both Michi and I. And after finishing the food. I go walk upstairs and see that Michi is still doing something on the computer.
"Michi. Here's our REALLY LATE Lunch."
I said. She turn around and smiled.
"Put it on the table."
She said. I put it near her. I grab my Chair and sit down. As I about to grab my plate. She stand up and grab me. She pull me to the bed and push me down. She go on the bed and immediately.
"Sorry Shiro... But I'm pretty tired right now..."
She said. I look at the Computer and she was editing something. I hug her and said.
"That's fine... Until you feel better. I will hug you."
I said. She smiled and nodded. I brush her hair and she started to calm down. And eventually. She fall asleep. I stand up and go to the bathroom. A minute later. I finished and wash my hand. I go to the table and started eating my food. It's still warm despite our room being cold.
I look at what she is editing and it's a short film as well... It's a real one. The Footage was sent from her group mate. I watch the entire shoot from start to finish. And I know a bad Footage when I see one.
And this is one of those. I read her note and it requires them to do it just HD. And the way they shoot is way to bad... It's shaky, it's blurry, the lighting is wrong. It's just not good to see.
There's also so many prop and people on the background...
"Damn... The Producer didn't know a f*****g thing... Michi is a really good Editor. And she was struggling with it... What's wrong with people..."
I decided to save her project as a different files. And I just edit that myself. I've seen what Michi is going for. She's trying to cut everything that she don't need. And there's a lot of things that they don't actually need. So I cut it all down and trim it nicely. I make sure it matches perfectly with everything.
I save it again to a different file and then do my own twist on it. I use Stock Footage that I own and put it in. I match the mood and scene and just let their voice acting do the work.
It's weird. But I would rather watch stock footage with voice in the background rather than watching the actual bad footage...
Michi knows the concept of Shoot to Edit. But sadly, her group didn't... I look behind me and she was watching me the entire time.
"Good Job Shiro... You're more calm than I expected."
"Well... On the outside I calm. But on the inside is rough... I mean... This is University Student Project right? They learning right? But they just look too amateurish... I bet High School student can even make this even better..."
I said. Michi nodded in agreement.
"It's stressful... But... Can you show me your editing? I want to see what you've done."
So I open my files and she started watching. She immediately caught up on what I'm doing. It's what she's doing.
"So you don't really hesitate about it huh..."
"Why would I hesitate about cutting something that not really useful. This is not a commercial. Why would you shot a freaking watch? Don't use too much camera angle... Use 4 is enough..."
There's Gajillions Angle that they use. And it doesn't match with the Background at all. Which really piss me off...
"Yeah... I will use the footage that you edit... I'm to stressed out..."
"You should. It's essentially your edit. Anyway. Don't be sad now... You want to cuddle again?"
I asked her. She smiled and nodded. So we turn the Tv and put Blanket over us both. Instead of watching Horrors. We just watch a certain Channels to improve our knowledge of Filming. We've been subscribed to them for a long time and we still learning something new everyday.
