Chapter 75: The Calm before the Storm.

"Hello? Dion? Where in the world are you right now my friend?"
'Aaaah!!! Sorry! We just arrived at the mall!!! Where are you right now I'm on my way into the mall with Sakura!'
Then from afar, I can hear Sakura panicking scream.
'Sorry Shiro! Michi! We're on our way to you asap!!!'
"Dion, tell Sakura to not panic so much. Me and Sakura is fine waiting for you. We're still scouting some café's to go to. So, take your time and go to the second floor."
'Aye aye.'
Since most food place are on the second floor, it's natural that I told them to go there so that we can easily came across each other in this mall. I know for a fact that if we keep on moving we'll encounter the two of them.
"Shiro, where are we going now? I've seen a couple café since we came in. But you don't even think of stopping by the café."
"Ah, about that, I kind of want to look around and see where the most interesting looking café is. I think I found where I want to sat and rest though."
From the corner of my eyes, I found a café that looks pretty interesting. Out of all the café that has very interesting and lavish looks... This particular café just looks cozy. I like cozy places, especially when I'm hanging out with my friend. So it's a no brainer for me to choose this place...
I take my phone out and immediately texted Dion about the place. It's called 'Serotonin Café'.
'Serotonin? Aight, I'mma be there any moment now.'
With that, we enter the Serotonin and was greeted by a waiter.
"Welcome."
The Café feels cozy as expected. With soft eastern music playing in the background and many comics on the shelfs... I can understand the vibes that the café is going for...
While Michi immediately seat herself. I immediately went to the cashier to order our drink. I take a look at the menu and scans for the best sounding menu and also the best pricing menu.
Now that I've taken a look at the entire menu, I'm pleasantly surprised that the price in this café is very affordable. Not that I have any problem with spending money, but it's nice to see a cozy café with a very affordable price.
I order two drinks for Michi and myself and let Dion order it for themselves later on... After that, I sat right beside Michi in a four person table and she immediately lean on my shoulder...
"Aaah~ I'm quite bored now that we have nothing to do. What should we do, Shiro?"
"Just wait a bit, I guess. I mean, it's just four more days before the meet up happens. We should just prepare ourselves for that day. It might be your first time to do something like this Michi, but trust me. It gets fun when there are no competition."
I just hope that this meeting ends with good vibes... I know I have some doubters in that meet up. But if I just force them to stay silent. It's a job well done for me and that's exactly something that I wanted to do.
"Yo yo, why the tense atmosphere boy? Michi has been hoping to have some fun time with you. Yet your face is as tense as an overcooked meat."
"The f**k are you on about, Dion? Also, sorry about that, Michi. I've been neglecting you lately haven't I?"
"Pretty much. I've been waiting for your invitation to go somewhere nice... But it didn't come... I want to hang out a bit more you know? Not just once a week..."
I feel like everyone is looking at me weirdly. They're definitely expecting something more from me. Which I just let out a sigh and lean back on the sofa more...
"Well, I've been having some unnecessary stress lately you know? I know it's not like me, but I just have that type of stress..."
"Can you tell us what's been going on then? Like, if I can help you, I will help you, Shiro. This Kaixen won't betray his friend. You know?"
"Since you want to know, I guess I will tell you. It's about an RTA community post that I saw earlier..."
"Ah, That Akros guy? I mean, he's good PVP player... But he's been neglecting his adventure a bit too much. I think he hasn't reached the Fourth Floor yet... I don't think he's close to me, even... I can one shot that guy any day of the week."
"Well, I know that he's weak and just trying to get fame. But at the same time, the fact that I've been grinding nonstop and people are still shitting on my effort... Really makes me want to commit a war crime in the next event."
"Just do it. It's not like if they stopped playing the game entirely they're going to get rid of the pain easily. Even if they tried to get revenge on you in real life. You are Shiro Shirone. No one can really mess with you. So, just do what you like and ignore all of that bullshittery that's been going on behind the scene. You have me and Sakura supporting you as a friend that are willing to spend our time to help you and you have Michi that's continuously support you no matter what the situation is."
"Even though Dion is a bit stupid at time, I do agree with his point this time. You spend your time for us so we spend our time for you. Not to mention Michi. She's your queen, Shiro. You need to take care of her well! Unlike, someone beside me."
"Hey! I take care of you!"
Sakura ignored Dion and then look at me. I look at Michi and she's smiling while also waiting for my answer... Now that I've heard what they all wanted to say. I looked at Michi and pat her head.
"Thanks for being here. I hope that you continue being here with me, Michi."
"I will be here for you, always. Shiro."
With that, our order arrived and immediately, the waiter stated.
"As I expect... It is you, Shiro."
"Eh?"
Everyone attention turns toward the waiter who's not the same waiter that we first met... It's... Someone I know...
"Well, never expected to meet you here... Mr. Liver."
