If I make him think that my power allows me to make a clone, then it would be so much advantageous for me in the long run. Especially since I don't know the other Royal Guardian...
Anyway, I appear right behind him lightly and immediately thrust my King's Fang backwards toward his neck... I thought that it would be enough to impress him. But Ewing stated 'NO!' as he block my attack with his sword.

I was a bit shook to see his movement like that. So, I immediately make a third move. The first clone disappears and I immediately move in front of him. Leaving my clone right behind him...
"Lethal Blows!"
Three attacks from the front, is blocked with his shield. I immediately use Godspeed and disappear entirely.
"... You are fast, I'll give you that. But, is the extent of your power only increases your speed? That's pathetic... My instinct allows me to see the trajectory of your movement. It's no use if you uses your clone to create a fake presence and not to attack."
This NPC... Ewing, is super smart... His thought process is not that of an AI. Meaning, this guy needed to be treated like a Human. Who's capable of feeling sympathy and uses that sympathy to further think of what might be happening in other's people head...
Such a terrifying being exist in Eclipse Online in such early floors. This is bad for the state of the game because it will be filled with so many strong NPC that the players would feel useless... But to me, it's perfect... It added to the realism of the game...
"Haaah... I guess so... Since you don't like the uses of clone as a temporary placement of presence... How about... I do this?"
Using Godspeed, I'm now allowed to be in four different places at the same time... Using that, I immediately thrust both my King's Dagger straight toward Ewing to overwhelm him with attack. Of course, Ewing who knows that it's coming, blocked everything with a perfect combination of sliding his sword and shield...
But there's something that he didn't realize...
"Bang!"
A kunai dropped down like a nuclear that he didn't expect. A massive black explosion appear around him and I can see that his health bar dropped by a lot... Like, thirty percent...
I know that he's going to be mad and attack non stop to stop me from attacking. So, I immediately uses my Godspeed to gain a lot of distance... Perfectly spacing myself with the buffs so that when things got worse, I can always escape to another space...
But to my surprise... Ewing just took it... Turns out, Ewing managed to stop the Kunai with his shield. At a heavy cost that he lost his shield entirely and have to sacrifice his left arm for it...
"... Interesting... To be able to take out my arm like that through my shield... It's magnificent... I can see why you got the key now. But, it's not enough to entertain me to let you go to the Royal Capital easily."
Ewing just pointed his sword at me and I put on my guard...

He disappears from my peripheral vision. But my instinct is telling me to stay still and block his attack using my instinct...

As I'm muttering that... I can hear a swooshing sound from behind me... I turn around and swing my King's Claws up... I didn't hit anything. Instead, it's my left hand getting cut off...
Then, I feel another swoosh coming straight from below my waist...

I immediately grab my King's Claws and disappear for a bit... My hand regenerates and I hold my daggers once again...
From thin air, Ewing appears...
"Impressive... The more I look at your movement, the more I know that you're worthy of the key... Now, let's see if you can survive my last attack."
I gulped nervously as his sword shines in seven different colored light... He hold his sword straight up and just swing it down lightly.
"Strike him down, Severing Light!"
A massive ray of light shines down upon me and started cutting me... Fortunately, my armor is pretty strong. So, I manage to time my Phantom Flicker perfectly and get out of the range.
"... Hooo? You managed to survive that huh... Impressive... Very impressive."
"Haaah... Shut your mouth now."
Without hesitation, I use Godspeed and stab him straight on his throat using my Dark Thorn... Without giving him any more chance to say anything. I immediately hit him with my Lethal Torture... Continuously Sawing him off like he's nothing... I use Judgement Drive to stack Withering Damage toward him. I use Blood Mark to stack up more damage. Then I use Phantom Overdrive to swirl all the damage around him without any mercy... Then lastly, I use the Awakened Form of Dark Thorn... Blowing everything up alongside the use of Blood Discharge...
"Argh..."
Obviously, it's such an overkill for me to use all of those technique. But the moment he gets a massive hit on me, it hits my pride as well. So, I decided to not show him any mercy and just kills him straight up without digging for more information...
The moment he got hit by Judgement Drive, he's already dead. But with the continuous skill uses... He's Dead dead...
"The moment you get cocky in front of the king. That's when you realize, it's your biggest mistake... You are a Royal Guardian. So, you know how powerful the Royal being are... You managed to do your job well. So for now, rest up, Ewing."
I turn around and make my way back toward the group... Who seems to be fighting... The other Royal Guardian..
