Chapter 67: A King should never waste time.

As I'm going to the most Northern side of Coggensville to look at my VIP blacksmith building. Along the way, I meet a lot of NPCs that look like they're half dwarf half cyborg. They're pretty soft looking and spoken towards me because of the effect of the 'Coggensville Charm'. I didn't talk to any of them properly, I only greeted them because I want to find out the blacksmith. A major key to the content in Coggensville.
I'd like to say that I don't want to involve myself with the NPCs, but I do want to involve myself due to me not having the skill of a blacksmith. I would hope that I have someone to learn the skill to Smith from. So, I would grind my ass out after I figured out everything.
After traversing through the interesting city of Coggensville, I finally found where my smithy seems to be. It's right on the edge of the Coggensville. Unlike what I expect, this building seems to be... Very worn down. The wall are cracked for some reason. The cracks on my wall seems to be bigger than the other building around. Even though it's VIP too.
I stayed positive though. There's no way that the Devs f***s me by giving the VIP a building that is worn down to the point that one punch from me would shatters the entirety of the building.
So I positively went in and hope for the best...
The doors recognize me as OneSec and opened. Only to let out a massive dust attack straight on my face.
"f*****g hell!"
My vision was suddenly filled with nothing but dust. I'm fortunate that this is a game. If this is real life, I would've been coughing like there's no tomorrow.
Anyway, ignoring the dust. I enter the smithy and immediately see a bunch of worn down equipment in the darkness. The furnace is worn down, the hammer is cracked, and many more stuff are not in the best condition.
"How is this VIP Smithy?"
Well, I ain't gonna waste my time any further. At the same time, I am waiting for Michi to be here. She's not here yet since she's not Online. So, I think I need to log out and just wait for her to be here.
"It's not bad for me to log out and look at this with a better perception. A clean slate of mind might works wonderful when looking at something like this."
It's already hard for me to stay positive when it gets like this.
So I take my headset off and went back to the real world.
The first thing I do when I'm out is taking a deep breath and immediately stand up to go outside.
"Damn, that's something that I would never see coming from Eclipse Online. Eclipse is not a game that would do that. So there must be a meaning somewhere. I just need to figure out what's going on."
The question in my mind is, what could be going on? With this floor introducing a brand new system to the mix. I need to figured it out as soon as possible to get the advantage out of other people. Let's not think about the RTA matters for now. That can be dealt with later on. After all preparation has been completed.
Anyway, I went downstairs to the dining room and meet with Michi who's been cooking up some meal so that she can log in without feeling hungry.
"Oh, you're here. I thought that it was weird you haven't log in yet."
"Aaah, you know. Preparation is key in Eclipse after all. After finishing this meal, I'll go straight to the fifth floor, you don't need to worry about that."
The room suddenly went silent after I started thinking more about what I needed to do. Michi notices that in an instant and said...
"It seems like you had something in your mind. Always remember though. All the choices that you made is always the correct choice for you. Don't overthink it. Isn't that the basis of your life?"
"... You are right. Since when did I become someone who overthinks stuff like this? This is not like me."
Hearing something like that does put a smile on my face. I'm glad Michi is here with me. Since she will straightened me back up when I started to stray from the path that I set.
Usually, I'm not the type to stray that easily from the path that I have set for myself. But when my mind wanders into something like 'Destruction' it started eating my thought process from inside out. Not a healthy thing to think about.
"Phew... I guess you are right, Michi. Thanks for your words."
My body immediately relaxes. My stiff shoulder went away and I slouched on the seat.
"Whatever you're doing right now, you should be finishing it. If you're not sure about something. Just know, Shiro. You are THE OneSec. The best player of all game. The GOAT of this time. So, whatever you do, is probably right. A prodigy is never wrong."
"Alright then. I guess I will after you tell me something in that caliber."
Well, maybe I am not me today. I need to be more clear. After talking to her, I'm clearer than ever.
I went back to my room to quickly finalize the Smithy.
Coming back with a clearer head really makes a big difference... Just like how I'm in the zone much earlier, I can see a lot more thing and thinks a lot more stuff.
"Alright. The thing that I need to do to is definitely cleaning this out and renovating the entire smithy. If that's not it, then I just need to do the next most logical thing."
I have planned the renovation. I put away my main gear and then just wear normal clothes on so that I didn't overdo myself in cleaning up.
I went to the smithy storage and then I just grab the cleaning equipment and I start cleaning up the entire smithy. With the combination of Godspeed and my wings. Cleaning up the smithy is easy...
Since the cleaning is easy, the hard job is going to be repairing all the worn out things and bringing them back to new. That's the part I'm not going to enjoy...
