Sierra After we had lunch, Cookie took me to a couple of stores before we headed back to my house. The whole time, he kept me from overthinking. Actually, if I was being honest, he kept me calm. Even when my mind wanted to keep pointing out how long it had been since we left my letter at my parent's house and my phone had yet to ring. The thought that either they hadn't read the letter crossed my mind. Along with thoughts of them not caring or wanting anything to do with me after everything. But Cookie kept the conversation going and did things like paying for my items before I had a chance, leading me to argue with him about it, which kept me from giving too much to those thoughts.
