I grinned…
Did he actually like the simple three words Audrey had written?
I got up from the bed and took my bath.
Feeling hungry,I hurriedly got dressed and headed for the restaurant.
On seeing me,Audrey ran up to me.
“I waited for you during breakfast but you didn’t show up.It’s almost lunch now.”
“Sorry.I overslept.”
She smiled at me,mischievously.
“I saw the apology letter this morning.Was that even a letter?”
Audrey laughed.
“He didn’t like it?It took me a while to think of something that would please him.”
“You know our relationship is complicated.I don’t want him to think that I have feelings for him or anything.”
“Why don’t you just talk it out with him?”
“I don’t want to seem pathetic.”
I sighed and chose to change the topic.
“I’m hungry.”I said
