“I saved you a hamburger, a hot dog, and a piece of chicken.” I handed a loaded plate to Bo and sat by him on the tree trunk next to one of the horse barns. “Everything else is gone. You’d think those guys had never had a meal in their lives.” It was late afternoon now, and the fire flies had begun to show themselves.
