We arrived at the hospital, and right after I parked the car, I opened the door for Helena and Summer, carrying the little girl in my arms. We went to the reception with Summer in my arms and Helena by my side. She filled out the form and waited for the doctor to call us.
When our turn came, we were ushered to his office.
"Good morning, sir...?"
"Sean Salvatore. This is my girlfriend, Helena, and my daughter, Summer."
I introduced Helena as my girlfriend because she didn't look away from me the moment we went in. I hope she gets the message now.
"It's nice to meet you. I am Dr. Gideon Grey. What brought you here today?"
"My daughter fell when she was at school. Someone pushed her, and she's complaining that her right arm hurts."
"I see. Hi, Summer! How are you?"
